I wish you many more years of hunting ,cooking videos. I regret that I won’t get to see you hunting with your sons. My best memories of my Dad is catching my first fish and shooting my first rabbit, those were magical days. Best wishes to you and your family for good health and happiness and all else will follow.
Watched Meat Eater in the UK with no access to hunting land thinking man that looks cool. Now an American Citizen with 7 (not very impressive) deer heads on my wall. Excited for the upcoming season!
I feel the same way, but i implore you to not think that way. It's never good to want someone else's life, but just do your best to make yours the way you'd want it to be, man! I work towards it every day and hopefully you and I can get to a point where we are there, man!
Im pretty sure my wife is jealous of the relationship Steve and myself have. We hunt, fish, cook, tinker around. I mean not together yet, it’s more in the planning stage at this point.
Beautiful home! Sure is expensive to have property like that in Bozeman, but the dude worked his butt off and created meateater, Steve definitely earned it!
Steve is a thoughtful and articulate advocate for far more than just Hunting. I've read his books and have greatly benefited from the many "Teaching Moments" on MeatEater. He's a naturalist in the tradition of Aldo Leopold. I salute his success. He deserves the rewards it's brought him.
Great way to put it. My family beyond me isn't as interested in hunting as much as I am yet they still love to watch meat eater. Even though I am a hunter, I usually don't enjoy much hunting media because it all feels very bland and repetitive but Steve makes it a story. Industry is definitely better with Steve in it
I used to watch Steve when he was in a little studio in New York or somewhere around there and now he’s living large in Montana. Dude deserves everything in life he’s worked for. Love watching and learning from him
I’ll be honest I’m a city dude through and through but I’ve been so hooked in his show and just way he lives and looks at life and to see this how he truly is living is just amazing
My hero. I wish I had the balls years ago to travel the same path he did. He turned his passion into a world class company. A true pioneer in the outdoor industry.
Steve is one of the few ppl on utube who i want to see have an even bigger and sicker house, or toys or whatever he likes... than i imagine. He's just brought a lot of wholesome and educational entertainment to my family. He put the outdoor industry in a certain direction that i like. Outdoor tv had got stagnant and he really gave the wheel a strong spin. Hope it lasts. Hope things keep going well for them.
@@Travis12861I watch all the house tour channels on TH-cam I watch hours of tours every single night before I sleep. I have watched nearly every well edited house tour on TH-cam by now. Steve, I consume essentially all forms of your content (meat eater, podcasts, books, when YOURE interviewed as well ). I have a LOT of respect for you and my 7 year old is growing to as well. Please continue to protect your kids privacy from the internet. Someone once told me that people shouldn’t worry about their kids getting on the internet, we should worry about the internet getting our kids. Please also keep your home private. It’s gorgeous. I love the episode. It’s mesmerizing but I always worry about people in the public showing the world where they live. As careful as they are… always concerns me. Keep up the amazing, WORLD CHANGING, work. God bless.
Gotta hand it to steve for being such a great entrepreneur and outdoor advocate. Thank you for being such a great role model for our youth. It would be an honor to shake your hand someday.
You’re the man Steve. When I don’t feel like getting up early to get into the stand Il throw on a couple episodes of meat eater or open up your recipe book and it gets me into the woods. Appreciate it
I'm related to the Arnaud family. They've been ranching and hunting in Bozeman for generations. My grandfather married Delores Arnaud and they started a life together, had 5 children and were married until they passed (60 years). I've wanted to go visit for years and this video has motivated me to reach out to them and share our family history.
Such a cool dude and clearly living his dream. Impressed with the organization. I thought I was OCD but he is clearly ahead of me. A true family guy and that in the end is what life is all about!
thanks Steve for sharing your home, workshop and your genuine love of all things outdoors and hunting. great role model for your kids and all of us who love hunt. thankyou.
Longtime meateater fan, books, show, podcast. It was cool seeing his skulls as he often refrences them. But it was the garage that made me laugh. Steves, mise en place, shows his personality.
I've always been one of those guys that is, in general, completely unimpressed by celebrities. There are a very small handful of celebrities I find even remotely remarkable or interesting. Steven Rinella however is one of those very rare few. This dude is humble, yet supremely confident and knowledgeable. He seems like a mentor, but also a guy who would put you in your place if you were being a right foul jerk. He's very well read. He is no stranger to, or adverse to, hard work. He seems to actually put forth a considerable amount of thought into what he is going to say before he speaks. One of the only celebrities I would genuinely love to sit down with and have a conversation with.
So cool. I too wanted a stable “home base” for my family. All 3 of my boys were raised in the same house(27 years and counting) same Chevy suburban, and it was a sanctuary. Love it.
Love to see that Steven made it out of New York City. I've got most of steven rinellas' book. I Also turned other people onto his material as well. That's a guy who hasn't let fame go to his head. Feel like that's a guy you could sit down and share a meal with or a drink with, and it's like talking to a friend or family member.you haven't seen in forever.

I agree with Steve. I definitely prefer the skull mounts. One of these days I want to play trivia with Steve and the crew. I may not win, but I will be right there with the leaders.
Our butcher shop growing up was an old engine hoist in the driveway that just bled hydraulic fluid like a stuck pig and then we’d hang everything in the garage overnight to cool and cut it up on old doors thrown on saw horses, and this man butchers deer in a $100,000 kitchen lol great guy, love meat eater, I follow the YT and the podcast, great stuff
Steve you are absolutely and I mean absolutely an overall outstanding gentleman. Very cool and laid back and down to earth. I'm a big fan of yours. I don't know how many times I watch your episodes. It’s really interesting to see the books being read by the people you admire. When videos like this show a bookshelf, I always pause it so I can try and find my next read. At 14:37 , the book “The Light In the Forest” caught my eye. In “Meat Eater,” SR mentioned this is one of his favourite childhood books. Really cool to see it on his bookshelf after all of his success.
