When i was a kid I used to wish so hard that I could shrink myself down super tiny so i could play inside these playsets and in my lego castles and stuff. Im in my late 30’s now and nothing today in this horrible world makes me as happy as toys, and star wars, and pokemon cards, and nintendo 64 used to make me back then.
I feel the same way! My collection and video games are my way of escaping reality and all the negativity in this world. Plus, it's fun to just enjoy things for the sake of enjoying them.
Awesome! My husband and I had a great time watching this one together as he had these as a kid, he got to feel the nostalgia this time ♥️ I would love to collect these!
My brother had the dragon! I loved this set so much. The dragon's little raised foot was fun to set on everything. I remember playing with it in the back seat of the car when we went to dinner, and I got carsick and couldn't eat the chips and salsa I was so excited about lol. Awesome memories this video brought up.
Wow, this brings back so many magical memories of my childhood, I would escape into these little worlds. I haven't seen these since they came outrank! Thank you for bringing back those memmories 😁
The Mighty Max sets will definitely stand out from you collection for quite an obvious reason. They don't make toys like them anymore, you say? Well, why not let the Mighty Max style appeal to fans of the Tomb Raider franchise with new Tomb Raider compact playsets starring a pint-sized Lara Croft in the future? :D
I remember wanting these because they "did more" than the Polly's---- I mean, neither actually "do" anything, but they have more details, more moving parts, more hidden compartments, more puzzle like pieces, and the colors were more "realistic" than the pastel easter colors Polly always seemed to have. Plus the cool designs and the story that went along with it. Why didn't they do this for PP?!!
Polly pocket were made for the purpose not to have lets say the adventure kind of sets, they could go though for adventures in the mystery mansion or something like this i believe! Close to she-ra toys which they were made for the girls they wanted to go through the softer road lets say for you the girls! 😊
I love them so much! They all have awesome designs, and I hope you review more of them in the future! Despite the great paint job on all of them, poor Max himself is in need of some colored details haha
OMG I loved Mighty Max! I had all these ones as well as the Wolf, the Spider and a few mini ones too. I kept all in such great condition, but I lot all of them in a house move years ago... I really miss how toys were in the 90s... They really don't make them how they use to. Also a little info on the two types of Max figures, I think the toddler looking ones were first season, and the season that followed after were the older looking max's! :D
@9:10 i had the skull one as a kid, and i remember the max it came with did not look like this one at all, more like the toon style from the first set you show next to it.
The figures of max actually changed over the sets because of the animated show they made,it's not fake or anything i believe! Also in the bigger sets we also see those two other characters aiding max in his adventures along with their arch enemy skull master, which he wanted max's magical hat! 😉
A few months ago i started collecting MM again, got most of them. Still need a few, but they're the expensive ones. 2023 might be the year of MM returning. Keeping my fingers crossed! Latest add to my collection was the Skull Master Mega Head 100% complete. I first thought it was bigger, but without it's black pointy robe it might be as big as Magus.
Did anyone gave any attention to the gore some sets included? Like the shark with his teeth covered in blood,or the set with the mammoth with its tasks having blood and the ogre with the stone that he was holding being bloody! Those sets were for kids but also had somewhat guts as we say, literally guts as some could agree! For the horror fans in general boy or girl those were awesome! Back in the day my bro was collecting those and never really appreciated them so much, but nowadays i have a different opinion as an adult collector for those small adventure sets! I strongly thing that they should bring them back and i know ppl asked for those in general but they never did it!

I love how creative the compacts are. You see how much thought went into these.
Awesome! My husband and I had a great time watching this one together as he had these as a kid, he got to feel the nostalgia this time ♥️
I would love to collect these!
I'm blown away by them. One of the top best toys of all time!
@@Kerchie Absolutely! The detail is insane 🤩

Aww that's such a wholesome memory 🥰🥰🥰
These were fun little compacts, even if they were more on the gory side, enjoyed seeing them in detail
Yeah despite them being the opposite of my aesthetics, the designs are amazing!
I love these! When I was a kid, my brother used to play with my Polly Pockets… and I used to play with his Mighty Max Playsets! 😊💖🐍☠️👽🕷🕸
These are SO beautifull! All those details! I enjoyed your wonderfull strooytrelling!
🥰🥰🥰
Such a cool video! I'm glad you've added these to your collection
Me too! 😄
The taller, older Max is from a later series, where he was redesigned to look more like the cartoon.
Wow, this brings back so many magical memories of my childhood, I would escape into these little worlds. I haven't seen these since they came outrank! Thank you for bringing back those memmories 😁
That's why I started collecting Polly Pockets. So many fond memories 🥰
Excellent rundown. Brings me back
I really enjoy listening to the little story with each box read by you
They're interesting!

I'd buy these
I'd love a compact toy of every franchise. Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Family Guy, Harry Potter, etc. I'd buy them all!

Look up the limited edition roarin’ ranch doritos at food lion. The bag colors will donkey kick you in the nostalgi-berries.

Ikr! They're starting to kinda do this with the new Pollies where the exterior has some interaction but it's not quite the same.

Man, these are *almost* as cool as the Star Wars Micro Machines I had as a kid!! Still very neat and unique, I would have loved to play with these :D
Whoa those are cool! Gotta think about adding them to my compact toy collection.
I love them so much! They all have awesome designs, and I hope you review more of them in the future!
Despite the great paint job on all of them, poor Max himself is in need of some colored details haha
I do have more for sure! And yeah seems like they went all out on the compacts and other figures but Max is so basic. 🤣
Thank you for my childhood flash back
🥰

Ah that makes sense, I was so confused about the figures 😅 I never knew about Mighty Max as a kid. They're friggin awesome!
These are so cool!

I love how thoroughly you review these playsets. Do you have any plans to review other vintage mini compacts like the pokemon and digimon ones?
Thank you! If I get my hands on them I will. 😊

The Max in 💀 skull dungeon is original, is like a second generation of Max or something like that, there is a 3rd different kind of Max
the redesign must have been done to coincide with the television show that came out after the toy was successful :)
OMG I loveeeeeeddd the story telling by you!!! So fun!!! 😆😂✨️ please do more!!
I was just reading from the Wiki haha!
That spider one is cute.

Some sets are insanely expensive, like some Polly sets. I'm still hoping to get my hands on some. 🙏
@@Kerchie Sometimes you need to be very lucky to get some of them. Have fun and good luck collecting!
Love it!

Ah yes, the male Polly Pocket variants. I had them all
Lucky!
"We don't need any fillers here" lol 🤣👍🏻 And I love the game boy music that you used.
🤣🤣🤣
These compacts are the best of nineties boy toy ridiculousness lol!
Right? The blood, the violence, the gross things. Why was that the epitome of 90s boy stuff? 😅
i wanna get them all lol
😍😍😍👌👌👌😅😉🙂 😘😊
I m agreed❤❤❤ quality over quantity
Is MM the counterpart of PP for boys?
Yes 😄
WowwwWW😦😦
They are cool but idk why they're so violent and creepy looking? Lol
BOYS 🤣
my neighbour had these and it was so much cooler than Polly Pocket. 🥲🥲🥲
It's definitely right up there with Polly!
