The spiritual war we are in is so real. Our enemy will attack you with fear, doubt, blasphemous thoughts etc.

I was feeling depressed and I feeled this "war" in my head so I said to God that if he wanted to show me something on TH-cam I would look at the first video that came up on TH-cam.
So this video came up first on TH-cam and I watched it, I really needed to hear this.

Right after Jesus was baptized and filled with the Spirit He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. So to everyone that is tempted I say: Hold on to the word of God and don't give up! Obey God, resist the devil and he will flee from you!

Every time i make a good day for Jesus praising his name to others, evil come after me when i lie down in my bed i feel that bad presence. When fear come i just begin smilling and saying JESUS I need you now come please!! And there is the end of that "powerfull" attack.

amen, this was right on time for me thank you Torben. After an amazing weekend ministering and I start feeling extremely fatigue for 5 days and discouraging thoughts. You start feeling like God isn't with you or maybe I sinned and that's why I'm feeling like this.. Then you remember that there is a spiritual war and you fast and seek the Lord more, haha!

Indeed we have to always be alert and put on the armors of God (Ephesians 6:10-18 NIV). Not only that, when we have fears or doubts, just realize that Jesus is the Light which extinguishes darkness (1 John 1:5-7 NIV). In His love, there are no fears or doubts (1 John 4:16-19 NIV). We are God’s children and therefore evil cannot harm us, so long we do not continue sinning (1 John 5:18 NIV). If we do sin, we confess to Him and He will purify and make us righteous (1 John 1:9 NIV). But we need to always try staying within God’s Light.

We can also consider the need of our own deliverance. We don't often hear testimonies about deliverance of people in authority who are already in the ministry. One good example for such a testimony is Derek Prince. He gives boldly his testimony of how God delivered him from a spirit of depression after already being long years in the ministry. It is not shameful. It is for the glory of God.
Stoyan Pleshkov Yeah, I have a spirit of fear. When I was getting confused by the lies from the enemy (voice in head, also trying to confuse / fear) I was speaking the word of God and it rustled up the spirit of fear. (It manifested into moving my legs)
I think this is a good situation cause God is bringing me through it for change, into a new direction in life. One view was "I will just relax and be still, it will go with time if I don't feed it". (Which is true to an extent, trust in the Lord through these trials, knowing they are for the better)
The other view was "I need deliverance, I will use the word of God to fight back against the enemy and not let my guard down" (which is the truth)
A weapon of spiritual ware fare is praise music with the words of Hallelujah (glory to Yah), The Blood of Jesus, The Cross will clear the atmosphere around you. If you can’t sing, hum or even whisper Hallelujah, the name of Jesus, not struggling or straining, just rejoicing knowing the enemy hates these whispers of praise...it will drive him away, praise you Jesus, you are always our Champion!

We used to hear people say PUSH (Pray Until Something Happens), but I think some of the greatest experiences of his presence is to Worship your way out. It has not been easy to do this, many times I failed at it because the war in the mind can bottom you out. There was one heavy spiritual trial, where I did not have the internal strength to praise and worship God. So I decided to buy a tambourine and told God, I do not have the strength right now, so please accept my worship through playing the tambourine. I allowed it to be my voice as in the psalms where it says praise him on the symbols. I saw things happen in the Spirit that I have not been able to comprehend when I worshipped him with the tambourine. I have been in extreme sad places spiritually, but have lifted up my voice to say "God you are powerful, magnificent, majestic. There is no one like you, from eternity to eternity you are God. You are God all by yourself. You are undefeated, all powerful and the victory is yours. You are high and lifted up and your train fills the temple. You are the God that rescues, saves and heals. You are near the broken-hearted, you are faithful, long suffering and full of loving mercy, my rock on which I trust". Usually by the time I finish, the heaviness starts to lift. But this battlefield in the mind is really really hard, you can at times, feel that you do not even know God and question your salvation. But with determination worship him with your voice and pray, even if you have to write your prayers until your strength is renewed, even if you have to find something to be your voice of worship. Moses asked God and he gave him Aaron to be his voice. God knows every tear, every sad day....the bible says "before a word is on my tongue, you know it completely....and HE knows what you have need of before you ask". God is sometimes silent to push you into becoming stronger, to stretch you to fill each new space that he brings you. Just like when Israel was rescued from Egypt, they then had the new battle of possessing the land God had promised to Abraham's descendants. He is our Victor and King, he hears you when you cry out "God I don't know how to do this". He is faithful to finish what he starts.
Sound advice no big decisions, refresh ourselves. Soldiers DON'T take off their armour. We are in Christ HE is our strength and shield, in HIM we find rest.

Like maybe I’m just religious and not a true Christian because I don’t have joy as much anymore. I felt double minded. But like you said we are in a war. James 1:2-4 Count it joy when we are being tested for our faith is being worked and we will be perfected ( paraphrasing). You are absolutely right. Satan is trying to have us focus on the things that are negative or lacking instead of our blessings and awesome relationship with Christ. God bless you!

Why this is very important to me: now I see that you have also still stuff in your mind and still the normal mind like I have. I thought when the HS would be with me there is peace in the mind. But now I see that that is not nessessary the case. I thought the HS is avoiding me, but this isnt the case. There is always a war.. Doubts etc.. Of course! Life has so much trouble, how can someone have a empty mind.... Not possible here on earth. But we can get stronger in the spirit. The bettle is spirit vs ego/mind/flesh. Btw take care of the sabbat.. And keep breaks. Dont sin against the body.

this is all so true. when its time to move from milk to meat these things are evident. sometimes it can be severe.. strong faith is a must and support is beneficial when it comes down to it, its you and your faith, God, and the enemy. ephesians 6 becomes very vivid for some.. do not find the fiery trial strange.. but remember agter ye have suffered a "little while" the LORD will strengthen and establish you..

habbakuk 3:17-19 is a good example of LIVING BY FAITH and not by sight.. many times you will have mountains in the natural.. but remember elisha... "open his eyes LORD...." hallelujah surely there is a hereafter and your hope will not be cut off
This happened to me this week I stepped out of my comfort zone and started praying for people. I got hot from my head to my toes but that person wasn't healed. I was so discouraged afterwards. I'm still going to pray for other's because I love God and people.
Also very good advice about don't make decisions while you are being attacked and are in depression or having other similar symptoms. Recognize that if you are actively serving God, that the depression and doubt are normal. The more involved you are the more you can expect the fight.

You are so right. Ty for this video. I seem to get attacked a lot of times in the morning. It helps me to go over scriptures that I am trying to memorize, pray for others and worship our Lord. These things help me to get back to believing the truth, which is Jesus. And not to listen to or believe what the world calls truth. You can trust in him. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

Wonderful. I have had a great breakthrough since I joined the pioneer school, and Satan has tried to put me down. I am Al and I just finished the Pioneer school in Kentucky. I love the happy videos about healing, but I really needed this one about a real problem that I have with doubt. It helps that you tell that you have the same symptoms of depression doubt etc. Yes there are highs but it is really important that you have shared about the lows. Another bit of advice is to get prayer warriors to back you up. I can tell when Suzanne, Dale, Vicky and others are praying for me.

Yet I sense the opposition every time.
I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.
Everytime, I mean EVERYTIME, I step out I feel that God is not there, I feel weak, I feel in doubt, I feel fear, I feel embarrassed.
...But so what?
I have learnt to ignore feelings TOTALLY.
What have they to do with TRUTH?
What have they to do with the Kingdom of God?
Where they there when God made the world?
What planet did my thoughts create?
Is Jesus thrown out of heaven because of my feelings of weakness?
No haha... heaven has not moved ONE MILLIMETRE ...and NEVER will.
It is a battle of Truth.
That is what is happening.. it is a BATTLE OF TRUTH.
What is TRUE to you is what you will do.
If your feelings are truth, you will obey them.
If Jesus is the Truth, you will obey Him.
Everything is just an excuse.
Just do it.
So this I do.. like Jesus did.
I speak the Word against my feelings. ("it is written")
Loud.
That my feelings are NOT truth.
And my mind is NOT God.
Then I go out without ANY feeling the Lord is with me.
Nor do I need the feeling.
I mean... who cares about the feeling.
How does that rewire heaven?
Then I see healings everytime.

In the KJV it says "A brother is born for adversity." But adversity means WAR (you can look it up!)
WE ARE BORN FOR THE BATTLE.
THE BATTLE IS FOR OUR OWN SOUL AND THAT OF OUR FELLOWMAN.
That 's right, I didn't recognize it was the enemy. Immediately after the Kickstart, the day after the 2nd day, I was dizzy, extremely tired, I thought it was fibromyalgia, but after 4 days of intense sleep and really different thoughts. Today I experience so much anger towards everything and nothing, I do not let anything pass that I do not like. I tell myself that's enough, I gave and a lot and me what do I have, do you think of me? I rehearse a lot of negative things that make me angry and I say to myself there I will not let any more .... But in fact while watching the video, I know that there is the enemy who wants to put me in However, I did not react, I did not block or fight for my victory. Now what Torben describes as a symptom, and decisions to make is exactly that. After 2 days of kicstart, the morning of Sunday, the lower dental part, breaks then a back tooth and an already broken, I am looking for a dentist who already took care of me and mounts in detail the trvaux and the price, then a financial plan in the amount of more than 8998. $ and equivalent to 150 $ / month for 5 years, I would have to pay this surplus until 70 years! No. I refuse, I put all this in the hands of God.But today , a person arrives with rent, at a place I like , near the ocean and that I had to contact in late May or early June, she makes me an offer today. The rent With heating and electricity included. But this rent does not really please me, the place yes ..of course in country, by the sea.... but I do not want to make any decision and it is therefore no. But it's true that everything happens to make me do movements that can be harmful for me in the future. When Torben feels that way, he is being attacked by the enemy because he is serving God and is tired from the event. Do people pray for Torben? Because he has enemies that probably speak or wish him evil things too. "Bad tongue spoken against us". So he needs prayer from us or from his brothers and sisters in Christ. We all need someone to pray for us, especially when we are seeking God through Christ. And like he says, we get attacked when we are mentally and physically down.....I have heard from some spirit filled ministries that when we are down and being attacked, to magnify God right there and there! To sing to him, praising him, glorifying Christ and that will set you free from that fear that brings you down. I have also commanded fear, doubt depression etc in Jesus name, to leave and it works when we truly mean it with faith. God bless you Torben and I pray, decree and declare that the Lord's Angels camp around you to protect you from any demonic attacks, bad tongue spoken against you and your family... In Jesus mighty name! Amen!!
