I almost think the Opie line about the watch could have stayed in. It was so scumbagish to everyone in studio. Jimmy sounded especially disgusted about it. It's one of those moments that shows 'edit out' Nopies are justified
There's a reason why Ant, Rich, Jimmy, and Bobby still hang out while Opie is relegated to hanging out on the beach, ranting at his phone.

I think after so many years of listening to & dissecting Vos' mangled vocabulary, his friends let some of them slip past because they know there'll be another one along the way.
Opie had no right being on his own show
There would be literal blocks of time, like 20-30 minutes, when he wouldn’t utter a word or contribute in any way, especially in interviews. If it wasn’t for Anthony, you’d wonder why the show was titled that way at all.

You hear the difference in audio quality between the two shows: O&A sounds like a normal radio show, on R&F you can hear every time Ron gasps for air or smacks his lips. Even the older R&F clip they play within the newer one doesn't have the mics turned up to the gross levels they had in the satellite years.
