The bartender guy with the white hair is one of the nicest, coolest, most respectful and thoughtful people you’ll ever meet. I’ve been there a few times and I always make a stop there to have a drink because he is awesome. Thank you for the likes. Went to visit and Georgie was not there however the other guy was a tall bartender who was really cool and deserved the same shoutout! Hooked up my drinks. FYI TIP YOUR BARTENDERS!!
@@JayGRiFF423 I was just about to comment and say that it’s Georgie!! He is the coolest bartender in Vegas! I used to go to him nightly when I got off work and worked on the strip.
Man, the first time I went to the strip after moving here, there was some poor girl kinda passed-out/faceplanted into that white castle's street window at floor level from the inside.
I see more good comments than bad ones....that's a good sign, I will give it a try. Casinos don't have to gouge people in order to make money, a $3 dollar beer is an outstanding fare price anyway you slice it and they're still making a profit. Let's give this place all of our business, we need it to thrive!!
@@WomenfolkJoif you're there on a budget you're not there for the esthetic. Just stay there for cheap and walk literally across the street to Caesars.
I love this place, last time I was there I ate good food from the small food court, wasn't bothered at all, and played there all day off $100 and walked out with $2500.
Absolute gem of a place. Well kept up, decent rooms that don't make you feel like you're gonna catch some unknown disease, very good priced food...If you wanna spend more money to get drunk and gamble, this is the place.
I hope so. One of the big name hotels got a nightmare review: the guest said there was a 6 ft wide hole in the ceiling of his room and it was dripping water from a broken pipe onto his bed! That's despicable and should be illegal. And the front desk, according to him, said "there's nothing wrong with the room!" WTF???
Love this place. The food court is a retro gem. The overdone decor is true LV. This is a reprieve from $20 to $30. The bath bombs are a perfect end to a full day of hiking. This place is a Hidden Gem.
I just stayed there this past weekend. For the price, I loved it! It's smack dab on the strip, and walgreens is right next door. Great for picking up supplies and water. We asked for extra bedsheets at night, the front desk made sure to call us back and confirm we got what we asked for. Friendly staff!
My husband and I stayed there last year and that was the best decision granted is not a lot of frills like some of the other fancy places but you were because it's basically a Best Western. But you were within walking distance of all the fancy places and you could still walk around and look look at all the things you didn't have to pay for The they were stops for the buses right out front on either side of the street and they didn't charge resort fees you could walk to the Bellagio fountains it's a great place to stay
A hidden gem this place has a lot of older employees that are just a delight to speak with, they know more Vegas stories and love to tell them and I’ve never been disappointed when I’ve been there. A definite place to stop at whether local or tourist
Now THIS is the kind of info I want to know! This chick seems super hung up on status and the "expensive means better" mentality. This place seems rad.
I actually now want to go to Vegas and stay there. I’ll gamble some decent money because I don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off for everything else. Hell yeah!!!!!
Jockey Club also has no resort fees and free parking and its amenities are much nicer with direct access into the Cosmo and use of the Cosmo's pool. Just spent a week there and had a huge 1 bedroom 1.5 bath condo with full kitchen overlooking the fountains
What's suspect about Outback? They have great food! And very agreeably priced for the strip. And 1984 was a great year btw. Great music and society was much less stressful.
Definitely a hidden gem. Had some of the best waitresses of all time while playing there. Never had a bad experience at that Subway. Always a must while gambling in Vegas...
This place is awesome! It’s refreshing to have a budget minded option on the strip. I love all the older classic properties that really make it feel like Vegas. Thank you for the great post!
I love this place. It reminds me of LV circa 1994. Reminds me of the first time I went to Vegas. Imports are 3 bucks, old school video poker, and everything mentioned in the video. I just love the vibes.
I love this hotel and casino. The rooms are 50 feet from the strip. The poker and buffalo slots are awesome. It is my home away from home. I stay here every time
We just stopped in here a couple weeks ago, I like the little casino, it’s very nostalgic and I win a couple hundred in penny machines every time we stop. I did not know it was a hotel also though, just a weird little casino with some shops and food. Now I need to check out the hotel without the fees!
I stayed there in october, the hotel itself i recommend if you’re looking for a clean and no frills room (they have standard BW rooms) on the other hand the casino is very rundown and smoky. Sketchy people inside and around especially in the parking lot. Our room was on the ground floor looking directly on the pool path witch lead to us not be able to enjoy any view and have to keep the blinds closed
I would love to stay there, I've never been to Vegas but out of all the casinos I've seen videos of, I think I would like that one the most. screams 80s to me :) lol
Looks great honestly. Casinos make plenty of money to not charge for parking or resort fees. Nice to see an owner/business group that isnt penny pinching at every corner
I'm going to say, hidden gem. If you're on a budget, stay here. Location is convenient and there's a lot.of food options around. If I remember correctly, drink prices are cheap as well.
We loved staying here. Will definitely stay there again. We won on the machines there too....we always ate at the close by restaurants, except for outback.
Casino Royale was my favorite casino back when they had table games and dollar bottles of Michelob and Coors. Even though we had a couple of sketchy craps dealers, the bartenders were great. Sad to see how much its changed.
I can't judge until I see the rooms. However, based on what I see. I'm gonna say it's a hit. If anyone has stayed here or been in a room, please let me know. Thx
Yes it's actually a Best Western and the rooms are nice typical Best Western. We stay there Because it's right in the middle of everything and the room quality is good.
The $20 refund on your losses is legit. No table games like you said, but you can sit at the bar play some video poker with some cheap domestic bottles. From Chicago so white castle is something we’re used to- A fun place to break up the occasional monotony.
People trash these places but to me these are the only little gems left.. oh it’s not marble and doesn’t cost 1k a night… I love these beat up old 80’s looking casinos! Brings back those old Vegas vibes

This place is a gem. My wife wasn't to sure but when she saw how cheap everything was she loved it
Proof that cheap does NOT always mean "bad quality." If I had the money to take a vacation in Las Vegas, I'd try this place out.
Thats my favorite place to go to grab food. The $2.49 hot dogs are actually really good and their corn dogs are as well.
