The WRX logos on the back of the flaps look good in my opinion. They are small and tasteful and it’s not even super obvious when you have the STI brakes and gold wheels in the same vicinity.
Yeah good point when you say it like that. The bright gold BBS wheels and STI yellow brakes stand out for sure compared to the WRX logos. You got me convinced on the WRX lettering now. I was considering removing the lettering. Thanks for your comment.
Just got my OEM flaps from the dealership for my '24 Impreza Sport. Like other commenters have said, no instructions without subscription fee! I love Subaru... But, pretty crappy IMHO. Thanks for the instruction video! 👍
Good point, the car does look more aggressive from the back. You can see the rally heritage in the design of these with how low they hang down. The BBS wheels are a huge upgrade over the stock wheels. Thanks for watching!👍

You can definitely swap them or just pick up a nice used set of GR STI BBS's and have a set on both cars! I also have my eyes on getting a set of the VA STI 15-17 BBS wheels. I just have not been able to find a set in perfect condition yet.
I've been considering these. Thanks for the video. What are your thought on the steering dampner lockdown kit? With your connection to Perrin I'd have thought you would have been sent one of these for evaluation. It looks easy to install but the reviews seem mixed.
Yep definitely a must future mod for myself. Though I'll have to be creative with the rears as I have the paint matched arrow kit. I know heavy metal WRX had the issue to get the rears installed with spats on. I'll see what he did 😉 This looks like a must have to help protect the paint as I am a fanatic about the care of my car LOL! I wish I did PPF from the get go though. I'm just now putting that on in the front. I model my 22 WRX aesthetically like IIR shop car. WRB with paint matched arrow on silver rims. Looks awesome, IMHO. LOL. I like how your build looks more true to the WRX platform with the rally inspired look 🤘 Great video as always I'll definitely be referring back to this when I installed them 🤙
That's awesome Kevin. I am a huge fan of the IIR car set up too. To my preference from all the business car builds. I like the styling of the Subimods car the most. They are nice. I put a set on my 22 WRX. The only problem I've been having is the clip on the inside of the front wheel well keeps popping out on both sides. I finally ended up going to our local hardware store and buying a different style pin. I've only had them on about three days, but so far so good. Just something to keep an eye on. I had a set of Rally Armor ones on. I kept losing the metal brace on the front. They had to go.
@@matthewkim5741 I ended up going to a hardware store. I ended up with clips that you screw the pin part in versus pushing it. I did get in touch with Subaru and they were going to have me take it to my dealer and have an evaluation done.
Hey man. Does your car AC compressor make a pulse sound when the AC is off but the car is warmed up good? Mine started making a pulse sound that goes away with the AC on but comes back with AC off.
The innermost pop clip holding in the front mudflap comes loose from time to time. After a few trips to a shopping mall with bumps every few feet I lost it for good and just ended up securing with ol reliable (zip ties)
I kept losing mine as well, I ended up making the hole just a bit bigger to use the same style of pop clips that hold in the bumper. Haven't lost one since.
@@hystericalJuggernaut I was thinking about doing that but I couldn't be bothered and was worried about messing up and breaking the flap beyond repair. Good stuff tho!

Every time I watch you videos I'm tempted to swap wheels between my 09 STI and 23 VB. Always love the gold BBSs.
