In thousands of hours of Rupert I have never seen him not maintain presence. What a gift to see him handle that with humility and humanness. And recover so gracefully.
If one truly understands that our Awareness is primary, & one can actually abide with this Awareness most of their days, other than possible bodily threat or harm, these ideas in this video are the key to peace, freedom & fulfillment that humans long for. To think that it is only a negative or disruptive 'thought' and its subsequent 'emotion' that can veil or obscure our genuine and natural peace is incredible. The only issue that I see with these ideas is that it's not easy to abide or rest as the Awareness that we truly are when most people have 'practiced' their entire lives 'being' caught up, identified or fused with their thoughts, emotions, sensations and perceptions. For most who hear these teachings, I'm afraid it will be the equivalent of going to a Tony Robbins event whereby as soon as one leaves the auditorium, they 'forget' & go back to their conditioned minds. Since I have been on a deep dive with Ruperts ideas/teachings for a couple of years now, I can honestly say that for ME, 2-3 hours of Meditation per day enables me to abide in Awareness more naturally. From the youtube videos that I've witnessed it appears as most do have this trouble abiding as Awareness most of their days even after learning about these ideas. Becoming detangled from the content of experience is not easy if you have practiced it for 30-60 years and I think the greatest step from here would be a good explanatory theory as to 'how' to get to that state of Awareness without necessarily having to ask oneself, "Who is it that is Aware of this Experience?" every 5 minutes. In addition, most people must work to earn a living and most would find it difficult to continue to go back and forth from being Aware to the content of their experience as they must focus on their work. Being Aware of being Aware while simultaneously "thinking" & focusing on the task at hand is not easy. But I have found that Concentration Meditation enables me to do this much more naturally, simultaneously. I know Rupert seems to dismiss Meditation as an 'indirect path' but from the studies performed on Monks Brains, it appears as those who have logged 30,000 hours versus even 10,000 hours, have a much different brain. The more hours logged, the younger and more pliable the brain (more gamma, theta, alpha activity). I don't think Meditation should be dismissed as much as Rupert dismisses it.
You as the principle of "EXISTENCE/CONSCIOUSNESS" (not the embodied psychosomatic apparatus that you have taken yourself to be), transcend "happiness and sorrow"; "happiness" as the intermittent feeling that you experience is not INTRINSIC TO YOU. Neither "happiness" nor "sorrow" go into your BEING. While they appear and disappear in you, YOU are the UNTOUCHED PRINCIPLE OF "PEACE" and the ETERNAL WITNESS of all the feelings that rise and fall in YOU. What does that peace "feel" like? Your experience of deep sleep is a direct pointer to that PEACE that you eternally are.

try some more denoise or decrackle tools, I do that with music, don't know audio only. this way the audio and therefore the video looses 99% quality, sadly.

This man has perfected a technique which helps people escape their woes and makes them feel enlightened. He makes a lot of money telling people not to worry about money and the world they find themselves in.
Maybe what he is selling is the opposite of hypnosis, a waking from the mass hypnosis of culture that inculcates individuals with a shared, but mistaken idea of their personalities. What if the religions of the world have a mystical truth that is prior to our egos which when seen sets us free, allows more choice, leaves us more content and at peace more and more of the time? Is there a place in consciousness prior to judgement? A place we might call unconditional Love?
