FairPlay to you Justin teaching the lad very rare these days no one ever got the time any more I my self went on a bricklaying course for six months in Wrexham many many moons ago and I have never looked back worked for my self for over 40 years happy days
Hi David Love teaching the youngsters its rewarding .If they want to learn I'm willing to teach it's a great trade isnt it . Good luck thanks for the comments
They were called ET I think employment training courses. They ran for six months never understood how you could learn brickwork In 6 months but it obviously did people good so brilliant they dont do anything anymore dont think such a shame . Good comment
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping They were taught basics and picked the rest up once on site I think, A good way of getting people into the trade, I did 4years City and Guilds in the early 70s
He's a lucky lad to have a bricky teach him.i am learning on the job as a improver he will be good in a few years.good man for teaching not enough brickys like teaching lol.
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping Evan tho I am a improver I always try to get the hod some trowel time Evan if that means I go load out for him.I know how frustrating it can be to go from hod to improver lol.
Always good to see someone spending time with a young lad showing the correct way. Ps Justin did iron it with the mash hammer prior to putting level on the camera 😆😆👍🏻 Small square can be helpful for a beginner also.
@macovei2000 Your on about moss on a wall thats a good few years old in wales ,this was a repair job years later as someone drive into it .i cant do much about moss growing on a wall
@macovei2000 i suppose its upto the client to maintain the wall once its been built and we've left site . It rains a lot here in wales and unfortunately moss loves the wet weather so no getting away from it unless regularly maintained by the home owners.😀👍
Late coming to this video, so hopefully Fraser is still getting stuck in! That was damned impressive for a 1st attempt. Hope he realises just how lucky he is to be getting the chance to get a brilliant trade behind him. There will be tough days along the way, but the prize at the end of the day is more than worth it.
Ok George Hes doing really well tought lots in my time but Frazer is my son so I get to spend time with him and teach him a trade its brilliant mate . Thanks for the comments appreciate it Mate 👍👍
