Very helpful I just got my M4 back from a tech that charged me $225 Canadian for the DMR build and not educated enough in airsoft builds and I believe we are at 420 fps with .20 g
From what you said YOU can't send a DMR out that can go auto. I'm building a Cyma 518 DMR, also for target shooting. Can I make it adding a removable stopper screw? I would like 3 shot burst for off site target shooting

@@ChromePhoenixQ it’s because the previous spring was a lot lighter causing it to overspin because it was cycling so fast, with the larger spring, it cycles slower which gets rid of the issue

CKshouta fair enough, personally on the bottom of the spur especially I find the load too much for any bearing at that power, but hey if it’s lasted a 100k rounds in yours I guess it must be fine.
So what's the UK limit for FPS on a sniper vs an automatic? I know it differs for indoor stuff and different clubs so just roughly. I thought it was around 500 for a sniper rifle. It has been about 10 years since I last played though.
Nice work. That spring looked stupidly long, even longer than a guarder m140. Do you have a reason why you didn’t mod the selector switch for semi only?
Awsome videos. quick question, Im planning on converting my king arms dinosaur to a DMR, taking the 18-1 gears out of my new Specna edge. My only concern is potential overspin issue and gun locking up. Is there a simple fix to prevent this? Thanks
Because it's a myth. Every single gearbox I've ever worked on either direct from the factory or whatever, cone with the piston NOT at 12 o'clock. Most guns I'm seeing with stripped gears & pistons have had the "aoe" corrected. If it was meant to be that way, why don't ANY manufacturer set it that way?
Hey dude, fantastic video! Could you tell me what sort of equipment you use to work on AEGs? Especially to remove piston teeth. I want to step up my level of modding a gearbox but I want to make sure I have the right set of tools haha.
When you said the gun was making too much power for full auto, is that only for field regulations, or is there a mechanical reason it could damage the gun?
been working on a Cyma SR25, 098 platinum, almost everything was shit stock except for the body, cyllinderset and the gears.... been messing around with cyl/barrel ratios and getting amazing results...shorter barrels are awesome
Hi. I recently bought a G&G CM16 and right out of the box it is shooting to the left. All the "solutions" i was able to find online didn't work. If you have any advice it would greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work, love the channel!
Screevt it wad screwing with the way his sector and piston teeth were meshing! Typically it’s a good thing to add sorbos to line up the teeth, but in this case it was fucking with it
Sorbo pad was messing with his correction of Angle of Engagement. Sorbo pads come in different sizes and I'm assuming the last person just slapped one in and didn't really think about what size to use
And that's why I never use Lonex parts in the drive train, surprisingly bad QC and meh quality at best. They have good air seal, hop-up and trigger parts, but their drive train parts suck.

Not trying to be a smartass, but why go all the way glueing in a screw and that weird blocking mechanism. Here in germany guns have to be semi only by law and the way shops do it is by simply cutting the selector plate. Like I said not trying to be a smartass just woundering about the reasoning :)

@@allenslau Agreed. The spring can't be too short or with too varied pitch. The M120 that comes in a Specna Arms for example is very short, you can't cut that. Likewise an M90 that is very long (CA for example) cannot be cut as the coils are so spaced apart.

I could be wrong, but I think it was the lack of a active brake function, because the motor was overspinning, causing the double shot

Hmm, check if it wasnt PSG-1 spring, those are longer and can generate waaay more fps in standard lenght GB.
If it were there's a fair chance it wouldn't have had space in the piston & the gun would jam.

It's around 500 for a sniper rifle, around 400 for a DMR (semi auto only) and around 325 for a standard rifle.
420 to 450 and 500 for a boltie most sites the law allows up to about 370 for automatic before it becomes an issue legally
