    Really enjoy your videos, dumb question... does the shock oil get recycled or reused? I just wondered if it could go through a 2 micron or less system to clean it and reuse??

    Get some smooth jaw knipex pliers, they work great for jobs like that and no scratches.

    you talk about the pressure needed to remove the whiper cap, but i don't understand why?

      Great question! The wiper cap threads onto the seal head so if there is no pressure in the reservoir the seal head might turn under the retaining ring. In other words, the pressure pushes the seal head against the retaining rings and creates enough friction that you can un-thread the wiper cap.
