    That is so pretty. And the colours are delightful. Is this wool from like Aldi the supermarket?

  • @n.a.flanagan5231

    Rewound vid, and you say is 6 stitches, plus 5 at the end..so, 4 or 6?
    Also, I'm thinking having the tornadoes "angled"along the quilt would look cute, rather than straight up and down; I assume I would start in "2nd row" of tornadoes in the "1st" available dc, sk and make the next 3 dc over the previous tornado.
    Does that sound about accurate to you?
    I only have 5 incomplete quilt tops to finish, but I'm excited to try this crochet pattern.

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes sorry the 4 is for the blue one i did. its 6 plus 5. I have been answering a lot of comments. you could try it slanted and see what it is like.

    Good morning from a new subscriber! This is my second tutorial to watch, thank you for explaining everything so succinctly! Your voice is so soothing, I could listen to you read the dictionary since telephone books are getting hard to find :-D
    This stitch is special to me as someone who has lived in Tornado Alley for 48 years now. I can't wait until the store opens today to be able to start my own baby tornado blanket. Much love from Oklahoma!!!

    Hi Alison, I've made three of your blanket patterns so far, all a great success. However, you posted a sample video using up oddments of wool which was very very pretty. I, no matter how hard I try, can't find it again. Are you able to help me. Angie@Swansea

    STITCH HOW MANY FOR THE BLANKEY

    • @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel
      @AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do say the stitch count is 4 so do as many sets of 4 as you want then add an extra 5 (I think i say an extra 5) to keep the pattern symmetrical and the same at both edges. Hope that helps Carol Xxx
