OMG it's a miracle! I have been searching everywhere for this exact crochet pattern for over a year now. This is the first crochet pattern and afghan I ever learned how to make in my life 45 years ago that my late great aunt taught my family of girls how to make! (By the way I have a sister named Christal LOL). I was so desperate to remake this pattern and afghan again that I literally drew a visual in my mind and on paper and have drummed up my own pattern and have been making it for two weeks now out of memory. But I will definitely follow your lead and restart a new one with your instruction to see if I goofed along the way. My goodness I am so excited. Wherever did you find this? Thank you so much!
Beautiful blanket Mr. Bod crocheted. He is very good at it now hUH?? I can never understand some people!!! Why must they send rude comments!? If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all! That’s what I was always taught! You do a very good job on ANYTHING you do, Crystal!! Love your tutorials!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ keep doing what you are doing!!🥰🥰🧶🧶
This would be pretty for the bereavement blankets I do for Project Robby. Thank you for the tutorial. I am working on a C2C Superman logo blanket for my brother who saved my life. He is my superhero!
Oh Im gonna try to make this for my neighbor she just go a new grandson. I love this pattern. Thank you Crystal for showing this blanket its so beautiful.
Hi I’m Trudy and I’m in the uk I’ve been following you for a long time and never wrote anything but I feel the need know you are a brilliant teacher and I love watching your videos kind regards
A little late to the party, but I am checking out your blanket tutorials for inspiration! This is very classic. No matter what colour it’s gonna look awesome. Thanks Crystal. PS. Start to end including Ads!😘
You’re the greatest i am 70 years old lady never had crocheted in my life time but and only you thought me made baby blanket for my great grand baby. You are the best teacher 😊
I looked it up because I've never heard of secret yarnery, and you are right. She did a small panel for a crochet along with this pattern. I'm wonder if that's part of why Crystal got requests for this pattern in a baby blanket.
Krista from the Secret Yarnery did a baby blanket with this pattern and added a border. She has a CAL going where she does a different patterned square each month to sew together in the end and make a blanket. But she also takes each pattern and shows how to make a blanket with a border. This one is the Berry Biscuit Blanket.
You sure can! It looks very easy for someone who's new to crocheting. I taught my 9 yr old granddaughter to crochet this past fall and I've saved this tutorial in my "to do" folder so she and I can make it together.
@@babygrandma8654 Thank you! I’m a bit delayed on the reply, my apologies! I did make it and it turned out beautiful! I’m happy to hear you’ve taught your granddaughter, too many people don’t appreciate hand made, hard work and beautiful gifts because they’ve never learned to understand it!
Love this pattern very much Crystal it would even be great for a market bag just make a single crochet base, then use this pattern for the sides working in the round or worked flat the seam up thank you for your many inspirations 🙋🏻♀️💖🧶
Rental, that pound of pink yarn you got would make a gorgeous bedspread for your Rose. I am presently making a crocheted bedspread for my sister's queen bed. Wish I had seen this before I started that project which is almost completed.
This moved to the top of my project list lol. I was thinkn a tulip border but I think a ruffle border might be prettier. Thinkn beige or ivory. Great tutorial Crystal. Tyfs God bless you
I cannot wait to make this blanket! I have a team member work who's pregnant with a little girl, and this is her first baby. I'm sure she would be thrilled to receive this blanket as a gift.
I absolutely love this but I started getting slightly anxious on the fifth repeat and I’m so glad you put timestamps because I have a feeling I’ll be going back-and-forth a lot until I get going on this LOL it looks like it would be really fun to make thank you for teaching it!
Love this blanket. Wish I knew stitches and stitch counts as well as you. I'd love to create my own designs. Thank you for sharing your knowledge so generously.
Love love lovvvvve this pattern!! Made a pink one thinking about a blue one and or variegated!! It's texture is great and while a pretty baby blanket it's also a great wrap while veggin with Netflix...thank you for the awesome tutorial and pattern!! 👍🎉🤗💌
Oh I am looking for a few fast blanket patterns I am trying to make up a few for Christmas charity for kids and one for veterans thank you for always coming through Just in the nick of time
Got my mill ends from Herrschners today. Unlike you, getting all pink, I got all blue in my six bags! 😆 Guess I'll make some items to donate! This blanket will use up a lot of it! 😊👍🏻 Thx! 🧶
A very easy to learn pattern for a lovely blanket. Had the pattern down after the first set. Just made a swatch as I just have scrap yarn. Maybe I will win the giveaway tomorrow and have enough yarn to make a whole blanket. :-)
@@babygrandma8654 I’m using white, Michaels baby rainbow, it says it’s a 4, but it’s kind of thinner than a 4 to me, so I went down a hook size from what Crystal used. It’s a very soft yarn.
An instant classic baby blanket. I'm going to make it in all white with an outer border of the solid and one row in of the ch1, sk1 all around. That way I can run an appropriate color ribbon chosen by whomever buys the blanket. Pink, blue, yellow, mint, lavender, black, red any color will look spectacular!
I've added to myist of blankets Crystal. I don't know what color 🤔 but I know it has to be a solid to bring out the pattern. This is so classic and very beautiful...I just love it!
Once again you come to my rescue. I need a blanket by June 6 for my teen grand daughter's birthday. This I think I can get completed. Thank you. Love ya stay safe.
