Congrats to captain and crew! We are making our way south from oregon and are now in Half Moon Bay. We have watched your struggles, laughed and cried as we have experienced many of the same struggles. We admire you tenacity in tackling the crossing to Hawaii. We are going for more experience in the Sea of Cortez before crossing the pacific. I believe the struggles with governments and paperwork and silly rules is one of the less rewarding struggles. We discovered, the our boat has an uncancelled TIP from Mexico. Even though it’s expired,, we have to jump through hoops of paperwork to get it cancelled so we can obtain a new one for our boat. Boat buyers beware! If your boat has EVER been to Mexico, check to make sure the previous owner cancelled the TIP or you may not to be able to get a new one or even take your boat into mexico. Good luck and Fair Winds from SV Dulcinea.
The dreaded buoy run. Been there done that. Cross the Pacific and gotta make that run. Really pissed me off. For you guys even more so because of the amount of days.
If I weren't real careful, I think that buoy run nonsense could put me in a foul mood. Nothing like the government handling a problem in the most stupid way possible. I like your new boat Norm!

Yeah such a crazy requirement and in the end no one even paid attention, we could have called them from the dock and they would have checked the box!!
Does a boat trailer count as wreck removal insurance?
Haha I don’t think so.
Are you going to the Philippines after Samoa?
No, Fiji is next!!!
@@SV-Mig that is a great destination too!
