The people in bodega Bay were super friendly. The marina is definitely a dive, but the price was amazing and representative of that. The birds still rule bodega Bay lol
Hey guys just some Nor'sea 27 questions since you now have a few thousand miles under the keel. Would you have preferred an aft cockpit where Norm would be sharing the same cabin in a quarter berth? or do you prefer the privacy? When you two sailed across the gulf in evie may did the raised coaming Norm installed help in keeping some water out.(what was that material?) Norm since you are a guy of larger stature if you could do it over would you have bought a larger boat like a baba 30 or another instead of a Nor'sea? Could you tell any difference in the heating up of the cabin using Norm's diesel stove versus Tophers propane stove. Yeah you guessed it, I'm looking at Nor'seas and gathering ideas. Thanks.
I’ll let Norm speak for himself, but as for me, I would never trade the aft cabin version. Even if I was on the boat alone, it’s a great addition to a little boat. I also like the center cockpit. I think it is a little more protected.the cockpit comings on Norm’s boat and on mine now that we’ve added them are a must add. That being said once you add them, it really does take care of the water flowing through the cockpit. As for heat produced when cooking I think they are probably a wash. It really doesn’t matter much until you get below the equator or near it. The nice thing about norms stove is you can use it for actual heat if you want to. The downside to it is that it doesn’t gimbal and can’t. Thanks for watching! And thanks for the comments!
How did rate Bodega bay , I was working over there & my friend has his 37’ sailboat there , have a good time at home
