I used to play everyday because I had not a psx memory card (so I must to unlock the cars and tracks all the days) but never got tired about that game, and also I remember the NASCAR 2000 video and the EA cyber athletes.
I still have this, in fact I was just playing it today. I used to play without power ups as a kid. I thought they were dumb, but now I realize how fun they make the game. If you want a real challenge though, turn off the power ups and race on elite difficulty

Consegue ser melhor que muito jogo de nossa geração atual, esse jogo é a prova de que, para ter um jogo bom não é necessário só ter gráficos, e Iuri a versão 2 virou um hot wheels e tipo se era pra jogar um genérico do hot wheels era melhor o próprio hot wheels ^^, Rumble Racing deixou de ser Nascar por isso ficou tão ruim ^^
Rilderson Pedroza pse cara, a sensação daquelas frases do narrador, o jogo rapido e as batidas, os tornados que não tinham compromisso nenhum com a realidade, parecia mais um borrão preto mais rapido que os carros, mas mesmo assim conseguiu ser tão foda e muito mais atrativo que varios jogos de ps2. Rumble Ps1 marcou parte da minha infancia

Oh man, my older brother and I used to play this all the time on our PS1, and PS2 after that broke. He was always better than me at games back then, which always bothered me. That probably helped fuel my gaming obsession. I used to be in love with everything racing, especially racing games, when I was a kid. Easily was my favorite genre. Somehow, and I can't pinpoint when, I just lost interest. In everything, really. The most recent racing game I can remember playing is the Hot Pursuit reboot, which I didn't play much for a variety of reasons- before that, I think the next most recent was.. the original Most Wanted? I could be wrong there. I remember bringing it over friends' houses (back when that was a thing) to just mess around on circuits. Played a lot of Burnout 3 and Underground 2 when those were out, too, and I remember dreaming of owning Burnout Revenge when I eventually got a 360. But that never happened. But yeah- this game. I didn't have a PS1 long enough and I haven't gone back to it so I really am not acquanted with its entire library and its capabilities, but this is the game I remember most fondly from that console. I feel like the graphics have held up ok, aside from that crappy Z-Buffer issue all PS1 games have which sort of ruins it.
Wish i had a working PS2 controller so i could play this on my PS2. I found all my games and this was one that i remember playing so many hours everyday. Gonna probably just use an emulator to play it.
SunBeast66 No i own the copy of the game, and still have my PS2. Only thing i don't have is a working controller, and would rather just play it at a higher res with higher fps.

When we pressed x for the accelerator rather than Right trigger :)
But if you use dualshock you can use the right analog to accelerate/brake while the left analog is to steering

They'd probably remaster Rumble Racing, the PS2 sequel to this, because it doesn't have NASCAR Licensing.
