Grew up a Nascar/Earnhardt fan in a Nascar family. Appreciate all forms of motorsport now. Vividly remember this game, found a way to install it. Earned a sub! :)
Honestly, I like the EA Sportscar and the exposed muscle car engine block of the Elite class. It's just straight up taking a muscle car and making it resemble a stockcar.
Fond memories of this game. Don't like powerups and would rather be playing a more pure arcade racer? You can. Love the chaos of powerups? Go right ahead. Pretty great that the game is like that.
when i was younger i got bored and "tried" to write down every line the narrator/crew chief says. i swear he doesnt repeat lines in the same race, and still had more after like 3 races. and i filled like 2 sides of a paper by then
This and the ps2 sequel are some of the best racers ever made, EA Redwood Shores should have put this game on PC, like it's previous work, Future Cop LAPD. An exciting arcade racer like this is perfect for PC or Linux!
