Nice work by you, Toby. Shallow cockpit depth, no 'back door', no toe straps and no gunwhale safety lines would make me nervous. Could be a bit wet in a short sea. However it would make day sailing in a warm climate on the Med coast and round the Balearics a real pleasure.
Lots of clever design, and the build looks nice. To those who complain about the price, try building a boat of this quality for less in France. See if you can do better.
Living here in Massachusetts it is hard to think what it is about this boat that reminded the builders of The Cape. To me it looks like the little brother of the Optio.
Thank you for your comment. Your region is full of inspiration for us, which is why our boats bear this mythical name. Very different, in their designs, achievements and finishes, and integral deriver to navigate in shallow waters...
Very nice and I could definitely live with that if some loving relative bought one for me but for the price and if it was coming out of my wallet I'd be looking at a nearly new Atoll 25. Two very different boats but this 767 is certainly impressive. That engine though as neat as it is, I wonder if it's underpowered for a boat of this size?
@@fritanke2318 It's a fancy daysailer - how many meals do you think will REALLY be had aboard? Think about it while you are setting the floor for dinner tonight.
Two things: As you're folding that electric outboard back, make sure it doesn't power-up causing an horrific injury, and secondly: Why isn't the hatch glass? It would be pitch-black in there.
Need to correct the conversion factor for sail air m2 to ft2. It’s off by a factor of more than 3x. 20m2 x 10.28 ft2/m2 = 205.6 ft2, not 65.6 ft2. Love to concept and the implementation.
The boat is coming with its basic equipment at 109 500 €. Most of the time, the prices given correspond to the naked boats to which it is necessary to add equipment and accessories.
Like everything else these days, sailboats have become too expensive for a lot of people. Interesting concept, waaaaayyyyy too expensive for what it is.
@@jaysparc I was just referencing how much they cost with inflation and in the 80s it was still 110,000 but you don't think about it when you see a price at 40k.
What always astonished is me on most of these dayboats is the lack of a lavatory. If I go out for 2 hours on a dinghy, fine. But if I go out for the day. Maybe bring a lunch, do some sunbathing...
WTF are these manufacturers thinking?!? €110K? Who is buying that just to day sail, seriously? Only the ultra rich who have a million other toys. So disappointing. Great review as always though, cheers.
All these electric drives are great… if you don’t mind ignoring the 90% of non bleach boat sailors who keep their boats on moorings where shore power is not an option.
A day sailor trailerable boat that takes two hours to set up??? That's horrible and hardly worth it. I use to setup my 24 footer in about 20 minutes if I hurried and that was by myself. Are you sitting around drinking beers in that two hours or what are you doing? That to me just says a poor design.
How cool is that?! - Full of great ideas! - Wow to the designers and builders!!!
Beautiful and innovative and utterly insanely priced!!!!
One HELL of a cool boat for rich peeps! Wish I could sail on one someday. Probably the coolest day boat I have ever seen!
Brilliant, innovative design, nice to see some unique thinking.
Foiling and electric motors are changing the boating world. Super exciting
This is the Inspector Gadget of yachts!
What amazing use of space in the cockpit. Fantastic design
My dream boat. Just fantastic.
Superbe journée d'essai et une belle vidéos. Merci J-Pierre
Writing from Cape Cod.... Nice boat and nicely named. This is a great place for a day boat. Yeah. Expeensive
This is definitely different
Great features, but can it be easily single-handed?
This is the fish of my dreams.

thank you Tom
I especially like the drink holder on the tiller... now that's innovative. Wonder what the price is for a "day boat". My guess is 100k... or more.
All those convenience features. Where is the cooler?

Could you try get onboard a Black Pepper Yachts Code 2 for a tour? Such a cool boat and not much content
very different and beautiful also
5:10. " cant to windward " - does he mean adjust the self-tacking jib's traveler? Doubt it was to windward unless they hove-to,

cool, practical and lovely. $$$ damn it!
Love how well thought out the boat it. Not a fan of the tiller tho. Just doesnt look right.
Brilliant- trust the ‘frogies to think of this
thank you
Solutions to be considered even for larger boats
What hull material is it made of?
Racine de fraisier tricottée
Those rudder cheeks look way too light for windy conditions. Clever cockpit feature, who doesn't like to eat off the floor?
Beats eating of your lap any day of the week.

€110,000. oof. If you compare it to 80s boats that would probably get you a 28 with full accomodations.

Why? Self tacking jib, winches close to hand, what more do you want?

For billionaires it can be an option
awesome, but who can afford that for just a dayboat
How well does it point without a keel?

Imagine the boat you could get for that money. What an overpriced cod piece.
