- Installed the CX Racing blow off valve that came with my front mount intercooler. First tried it on its softest setting, then tried it on its hardest setting. Finally I tightened it down half way to three quarters of the way hard and it sounded the best. It is vent to atmosphere.
That hood scoop is fire 🔥
did you have both of these on your stock turbo? if so did you feel like you were losing boost in between gears ive heard a bov is bad for the stock turbo
I have a Gofastbitz bov and a jbr intake but no hpfi but don’t really need it unless you up the boost .
There’s a few cats around here in my neck of the woods that have 400 bhp MS3’s that are still using the stock internels... I know the consensus is that they’re playing with Fire but none them has had thier motor grenade on them so far.
erik dennard you just never know they are reliable as hell but i’d push 350 wheel max
Hey, is it possible for a stock Mazdaspeed 3 ?
Yea....a blow off valve was one of the first things I did. Intake, bov, hpfp start with those 3 things
@@bigboostmcgee4211 cool, thanks !!!
Hey I’m looking at putting this on my completely stock Mazda 3 do you think it would sound and keep up well??
Honestly you have to have a turbo, only the mazdaspeed 3's have a turbo none of the other 3's unless you added one
Your Mazda3 is NA...you have no boost to vent to atmosphere or recirculate...
If you harden it it will flutter alright
You can tighten it all the way and it won't open and flutter like there wasn't a bov on. If it's almost closed it woodshed first with a little flutter afterwards
