@@kaydenchap10 Theres a bpv and a bov. As a technician i always recommend bypass, over blow off valves.
how long did you run the hks on your stock turbo? and was the ever any problems

What’s your set up and tune? Need the same for my speed. I only have the intake, HPFP and 50/50 bov. I have the HKS bov here at home but I need to tune it first.

Just got a gen 2 speed 3. Don’t you need a tune for a bov on a speed? Wondering cause I want to do the same thing myself
People fight over it, I would suggest doing an intake if it sounds like you're looking for turbo noises

Where did you get the small hose adapter? To fit in to the hks since the oem is a little to big

you dont need a bov to have the purge noise.. im running stock BPV and i get the purge noise when i let off throttle with a simple intake.. i genuinely suggest changing out that bov and sticking with a bpv.....

these cars are made to run on BPV. yes you can get a tune and just cap it off but they run better on bypass. i just got an HKS that im going to use full recirc and i can hear major turbo noise with my SF cobb intake and turbo inlet.

Just get a tune in general and mention you have a VTA BOV
you should get a pro tune for pretty much any mod beyond an intake and even that you should get a pro tune. use a reputable pro tune like purple drank, freektune, and Tuned by Nishan

Where did you get the bypass delete hose cap
Came with the kit, previous owner might've included it when he used it.

@@ColtonRichter Yea, I scanned it, and it said that the MAF sensor was the reason to the engine light. But I just removed the light, hope it doesn't turn back on.
Should look into it, your MAF is critical to how your car runs...
@@ColtonRichter Yea but why did the blow off valve trigger the MAF? Thats part of the intake. Weird. But the light is not coming back on, so I think I'm doing fine.

I had one on my speed, I took out the fin out the bov. It got rid of the high pitch sound

No bashing or anything, but if you're gonna install a big turbo then only use a pull valve. You need that piston to stay shut at 24+ PSI. Synapse SB or DV valves are best. Of course, HKS SSQ4 is also just as good.
Never ever buy a shit like GFB Reponse BOV, it will leak like shit above 22 PSI. The piston is brass that will scratch i ntime and no o-rings. The only push mode valve I could trust is the new Cobb LF valve with bigger O-rings but the maintenance it requires it will make you wish a HKS or Synapse. So HKS or Synapse if you go BT.
Rob Finkle at Hypnotic swears Synapse SB BOV (not the DV) is the best valve. Lex at Stratified says Synapse DV is the recommended one. I personally just installed the HKS

You can get a flash tune, but it's same price everytime so I would suggest buying more than one thing before you get tuned
