So sorry, I'm not sure which PDF for the kids channel you're referring to. On my Products page you can purchase a PDF that shows you how to start a kids channel. Is that what you mean?
So I have a channel I restarted and tried to switch my content a few times to birth instead of potty training… appears to be failing, I’m thinking I should just do potty videos monetize and move on… Here’s my kids channel idea: take English/US kids books and translate to Malay and read them in that language. Add sound effects for interest. What does everyone think?
I am not a lawyer ... but you probably want to make sure that you're not infringing on someone's copyright. Based on some other TH-cam channels that I've followed, you want to "cluster" your content so that a subscriber that watches one of your videos is very likely to watch all of your videos. For instance, instead of having a channel that does interior decorating, gardening, and cooking; break it up into three different channels, one for each broad subject. It significantly helps with the algorithm. In your case, I would be tempted to have a channel per age group/language. One for pre-school Malay, one for 1st and 2nd grade Malay, one for pre-school Spanish, one for 1st and 2nd grade Spanish, etc. I always hated the "Dilbertesque" concept of "Mission Statements" for business. But in this case, I would definitely have a "Mission Statement" for your TH-cam channel to make sure that you don't stray from the intent of the channel (and if you consistently want to stray, either change the mission statement or create a new channel). For instance, "Reading age appropriate books for 2nd graders in the Malian language." I am not an expert, so weigh my advice accordingly. Don't listen to criticism from someone you wouldn't take advice from. Especially if you have a passion for it, I say go for it.
Great video with solid advice. Thank you
Thank you Brian!
