It is doing one of the two trains. Not sure what the engine number is for the second one. I am not sure what areas it will cover after it leaves Quebec.
@KevsRailfanning someone told me that 2246 is on the Canada route and 2249 is on the US Also a nother defrice you can tell is reefs the green is us and red is Canada
@@chrisscott8934 Looking at the tracker I would say that the 2249 will be doing the Red or Canadian route with a brief dip into New York. 2249 was on the train here in New Brunswick and it is shown as the red route.
Sadly for you folks no. The NBSR unit was like a pilot engine for the train on their rails. The plan was for it to run to Brownville Jct. ,Maine, where the two railways connect. However, NBSR 6416 had an issue and was dropped at Mattawamkeg. The CPKC 2249 was solo from there to Brownville Jct. The NBSR unit really did look cool al dressed up at night. Thanks
@@KevsRailfanning Dang was really hoping it would’ve been on there, we had one come over on a cn manifest that stayed on there for like a week or two that i never saw, was hoping that this could be my redemption arc.
@@fairwayrailproductions3239 Yes it is too bad that it is not. NBSR has three units at Progress Rail being rebuilt. They are not the SD70M-2 but NBSR units the same. They are being rebuilt to GP30C ECO standards. At least that is my understanding. Three are suppose to be 6 units in total rebuilt. Not sure if the other three have gone yet
SO nice . Thank you
It was a fun day. Merci.
Fantastic, it would neat to see it in person!
It is a great to see in the dark, especially at a distance. I hit it pretty hard the last two days. Fun chase.
