But the truth is, you’ll be at an absolute loss for words when you stand at the far point of this free-floating structure 360 meters above the ground, gazing out at the mountains, lake and town below. The recipient of no fewer superlatives is the Hallstatt high valley with its famous burial fields. Quite understandable when you consider that an entire epoch of human history owes its name to the archaeological finds unearthed here. Join us - for a short walk through the Hallstatt high valley!

Brother this months i will go hallstatt. I wants to visit 5 fingers. Do you know how can i go? Do you Any idea about public transport in hallstatt area? My hotel is far from hallstatt lace to 6 km. How can i go THERE?

Thanks for the watching the video. 5 fingers is on the other side of Hallstatt, but you can take Bus 543 from Hallstatt to Obertraun, and from there you either take a cable car or hike to 5 fingers.
You can reach Hallstatt by bus from any direction. What is the name of the town of your hotel?

Hello! How much longer would you hike to get to the salt mine? Also can you buy a ticket for the salt mine at the top?

The salt mine was closed when I visited.

I read that the funicular closes at 6 pm. However, can we walk to the skywalk after 6 pm for a sunset view? We are exploring our options. Our main things we wish to do in Hallstatt is the skywalk and walk around the town and trails.

Yes, there is no lock or gate on the Skywalk. So you access the skywalk and surrounding trails at any time.
