A buddy of mine went on one of these safaries some years ago. They came across some cheetahs that clearly knew what the vehicles were and what was inside the vehicles posed no threat.
A mother with 2 cubs, they were about 4-5 months old. One of them jumped into the car. The guides had made it clear how everyone should behave; no sudden movements, just sit and be as calm as possible so not to provoke any unexpected reaction from the cheetahs.
My buddy told me that the cub that jumped into the car was quite curious. He sat as still as he could, and looked straight ahead, but the cheetah cub poked its face right in front of him and sniffed his face gently, then turned around and jumped off the car.
He said that even though it only lasted maybe a couple of seconds, he looked into the most gorgeous eyes he had ever seen from any animal. In that exact moment he fell deeply in love with cheetahs.

Leopard is the baddest of the bad animals. It doesn't play with people. Lion, tiger, cheetah, ...are cool with people; I ment, one may tame or domesticate lion, cheetah, and so on more easily than tame a leopard. Look around the circus, never you will see a leopard ! Why then?
People who domesticated leopard have a secret to do that, magic power.

A leopard used to escort my mum in the evening, leave after taking water. The Dogs would be backing in the neighbors homestead until Kenya Wildlife Service personnel came for the leopard after multiple escorts to quite some people during dry seasons. They knew if they follow you,,you have water. That's why you are advised to leave water outside during dry season in a basin for the wildlife out there.

Cheetahs don't see humans as prey, but I would not bet on leopards not even a big male would be safe (w/o weapon) if the leopard is hungry). Leopards come into villages and settlements in India and I think there have been attacks on children.

I visited the Serengeti in Tanzania, across the Masai Mara in Kenya and we had an experience with cheetahs. One morning in our lodge we heard a terrible howl. A woman had wanted to go to the dining hall for breakfast, and on leaving her lodge at the far end of the camp, found 2 cheetahs lying outside her door. No good! Because as our guide explained, if you stay quiet, there is less risk for a cheetah to attack. They are such beautiful creatures. Nowhere can we see so many gnus, and such large crocodiles, real monsters.

Cheetahs are pets. The ancient Egyptians fully domesticated them during their reign. This is why they literally cannot even bite a human head. Their mouths are too small. The majority of their prey is small and most cheetahs quickly get their successful hunts taken by birds. You clearly aren't educated on animals

Judging by some of the comments here many don't know squat about cheetahs. They're by far the most placid of the big cats, so much so that they've been kept as pets in Africa going back thousands of years, even by the ancient Egyptians. In temperament they're more like a dog than a cat, and even some that have been brought in from the wild have been tamed down. That doesn't mean that you can just walk straight up to a wild cheetah without potential consequences, but this video of them lolling about harmlessly on a vehicle is typical of their behavior and it wouldn't be done if the drivers weren't familiar with Cheetah behavior - the evidence is right there in front of your eyes, folks, not least in the way one hopped into the back and straight back out. Not a hope in hell would operators allow big cats like lions or tigers to do something like this on an open vehicle, it would be far too dangerous - I've been on tiger safaris, and the vibe is totally different.

For all those thinking the cheetahs might be full or pet , u r wrong . The cheetahs are familiar with the vehicle as they see it as a giant beast which they can't beat up. The passengers have to be seated strictly as if they stand up it would change the shape of the vehicle in cheetahs eyes. They might be aggressive at that moment.
