Hey Dan! So after your recommendation on the tent, I bought one! However, the company I don’t recommend. Well, at least their customer service anyway. My husband made the purchase early December. By January we still haven’t received it. I contacted the company and verified my address ( I have the email) they confirmed my address to the T. They said it was delivered and basically told me to have a nice day. I told them we did not get it and even told them that I check my security camera. After some more back and forth and my own investigation. They sent it to the wrong house and they refused to send me another. I ended up having to go to a complete strangers house. Luckily, the person was nice and gave it to me. So I told the company that I got it and all they responded was “okay”. I so wanted to give them a piece of my mind and had half the mind to tell them to send me a return label. So the tent is currently sitting in the box and I have hard feelings. No, none of this is your fault. I just wanted to give any potential buyers a heads up.
Was the address wrong on the label or did ups deliver to wrong house? That happened to me once with an order of carpenter bees larvae. They died by the time I found them.
@@SugarCreekOffGrid the label the company made. UPS delivered it to the house they were told. The only way I found out what house it was, is I made a claim with UPS. My house number is 15216, the label was 15210. UPS even sent me the label via email. Then I went back to the company and they ghosted me for a few days. So I worked up the nerve and went to that house and got my package. And when I told them I got the package, I got an email back from them within 2 hours that literally said “okay”.

Was pose to be 60 here today but that went out south fast! That is one awesome score you made on that fan. Yes Sir us old school guys come up with a fix to make things happen with what we have laying around no doubt. I used small chain on mine like I use on some of my grow lights. I would have jumped on that deal also! Might be overkill but it has a speed controller so all is good. That thing on high would suck the slam in. LOL.. Setting 4 seems to be a good choice. Don't let the humidity drop to low. Stay safe my friend and keep that shine on brother! Hope you have a great weekend!

I have my inline fan blowing out of my tent but I have my carbon filter on the outside of the tent. Is it more effective at reducing humidity if the carbon filter is placed INSIDE the tent?? I originally placed the carbon filter on the outside to counteract the smell during flower.
Thank ya for watching and commenting Vijay Varghese, welcome to our community and the channel!! I had my filter on the inside of the tent, I don't grow Mary Jane personally but I have had folks tell me having the filter inside the tent lessens the smell going out of the tent. I don't know if the filter reduces the amount of humidity in the tent tho. Hope this helps ya out some!! Dan
Hi Dan Thanks for posting your video on installing your AC Infinity fan ventilation system , I have the same brand of Fan/Filter system in my grow tent and by using a larger fan than needed I am able to run the fan at a lower speed which in turn makes it very quit, I also added a silencer which then cut the what noise remained in half , now I can just barely hear the fan run at high speed. Thanks again , my name is also Dan ,,, Who Dat my Brother
Hello Mr Dan, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! I'm running my fan on 2 right now and I can barely hear it, what type of silencer did you add to the system/fan? Thank ya for watching sir and WHO DAT!! You have a good week brother!! Dan
@@HomeInTheSticks hi Dan , I bought the silencer off Amazon. The brand is the same as the Fan. It’s an AC Infinity. Didn’t cost much but well worth it reducing the noise in my tent. Stay safe , keep your videos coming. Who Dat / Dan
Hello Rob, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! Yes sir, I agree with ya 1000%, AC Infinity puts out some great gear for sure and I can't tell if my S^ is running sometimes because it's so quiet!! I thank ya for watching and subscribing to the channel, have a great week!! Dan
Hello Mrs Kay, welcome to our community and the channel mam!! Yes mam, I have nothing bad to say about this inline fan, it works like a charm for me!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, you have a good weekend mam, come back and visit when ya can!! Dan
Don't know if you've still got the tent. Best to duct the air outside so you're bringing in fresh CO2, rather than recirculating it in the same space. If the weather allows, good to bring air from outside too. It also wouldn't hurt (apart from the electricity bill) to have more light. All depends on what you're growing of course.
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mann In Vannin, welcome to our community and the channel!! Thank ya for the tips, I grow mainly maters and overwinter peppers in my grow tent which is in a 50x50 shop!! Dan
Hello Jessika Cantu, welcome to the channel and our community!! Testing on humidity was nominal and dependent on the air inside my shop. This setup is being used for cross ventilation and I have to have one vent open at the bottom of the grow tent as the inline fan sucks air into the tent and pushed out from the top of the tent. Hope this answers your question mam!! Thank ya for watching and commenting, have a great weekend!! Dan
My brother Dan, thank you for the great walk through on that set up imma bout to start my own set up ⛺ tent here at the homestead and thought it was gonna be harder than a Coon dog trying to pass a peach nut!! 👀🐕🌰 man I'm telling yall, it's worth all the time and effort for the blessings 🙌 in return🙏 Mr. Dan once again thank you for the shared knowledge and smiles my brother👍 I no doubt hit the like & subscribe button man, I look forward to checking back in with ya, stay safe humble & always blessed🙏✌😎 Tony G.
Hate to tell you but the whole middle of the fan can be removed by loosening the two duct clamps enabling free access to the boltholes underneath, and for cleaning the fanblades.
Thank ya for watching and commenting E E, welcome to our community and the channel!! Yes, I had that AC Infinity unit venting into my shop, keep in mind my shop is also 50x50 so I didn't run into any problems!! Preciate ya stopping by the channel, have a good week!! Dan
I didn't see anyone else ask, and it's been a while, so how has the direct connection from the filter to the fan worked out? Any problems with air intake without a proper seal? I was told to connect with ducting, but I see you let the fan insert loose into the filter. Is that working out well? I'm about to hang my T6 in my tent and would love the ease of a direct connection like you had if it works. Thanks
Hello George Mess, welcome to our community and the channel!! Filtration is working great the way I have everything setup, I grow a few pepper plants and over winter a few things in my grow tent, so there's no need for any tight seals in my opinion thus I didn't see the need to wrap duct tape around any of the connections. Hope this answers your questions!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, have a great weekend!! Dan
Awesome!!! Glad this video helped ya out Mr Josh!! Thank ya for watching ad commenting, welcome to the channel and our community!! Have a good weekend!! Dan
great video, just a thought the green straps you have on your bench is the style i use to hold my carbon filter up in my tent, and it lets you easily slide the filter happy growin
Hello Kevin Collins, welcome to the channel and our community sir!! Yes sir, I would have used those green straps but they don't appear to have been put together correctly, meaning the strap doesn't bind if you will, my filter would just fall is I used them. I looked up these straps on YT and mine definitely don't look like the straps that work lol!! Thank ya for watching and commenting!! Dan
Howdy Dan! If a person had a tent with that fan, and it was inside of a storage container, which will be hot in the summer, would it be able to cool said tent. Thanks!
Hello Jamon Brown, welcome to the channel and our community!! I'm gonna have to say no my friend, that fan wouldn't cool said tent, only thing it would be doing is recirculating the hot air from the storage container in to the tent. If there was a way to recirculate the air in the storage container, some heat loving plants would probably like those conditions!! Hope that answers your question!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, do come back and visit when ya can!! Dan
Thank ya for watching Andre 4000 Inner city gardening, welcome to our community and the channel!! I have to say that I'm really pleased with this setup, I'll see how much longevity I get outta the fan, hopefully a lot lol!! Have a good weekend!! Dan
Hey , great Video!:) AM i right in the assumption that the fan can control the temp. inside a tent , or do you need an additional ac unit ? Greetings from germany
Hello Mr Jim, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! Your assumption is partly correct sir, the fan controls the amount of air that is vacated out of the grow tent and to a certain extent, can control the ambient temp inside of the tent. If one lives in an extremely hot environment, a way to cool the tent would certainly be needed!! Hope this answers your questions!! I thank ya for watching and commenting, come back and visit when ya can, have a great week!! Dan
Hey thanks a lot for the great vid sir! Been wondering, I know you want to make another video in 4 month or so, but so far, how do you like the fan and filter? Bought the exact same thing and wondered if you still like it? Good for the odor ? Thanks in advance !
Hello felixroberge913, welcome to our community and the channel sir!! So far I've been nothing but impressed with the S6 setup, works like a charm for me. I grow hydroponic peppers and lettuce and it works great recirculating the air in my grow tent!! Do you like yours? Thank ya for watching and commenting, have a great weekend!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mrs Kimberlyn!! Yes mam, this system is perfect for beginners, I'm a beginner as well!! All one would need is a cheap fan to put in one of the upper ducts in the tent to get some cross ventilation going and a grow light to get started!! Only reason I went this route was because I got a really good deal on the fan, otherwise 'd still be running the cheap fans in my grow tent!! Hope this answers your question mam!! Have a great week!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mrs Donna and sorry for the late reply, I just got a bunch of comments, old ones at that!! Yes mam, that inline fan will really help with the mold for sure!! Have a good weekend mam!! Dan

I thought the carbon filters were only to keep the smell down when people are growing think they're not supposed to. What does it do for the plant besides that? I'm genuinely curious thanks Dan!
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mrs Clare!! Yes mam, that carbon filter helps with the smell when growing cannabis, for my application tho, that filter will cleaning the air that's being circulated within the grow tent. Overkill, yes mam but having that speed controller really helps as well!! You have a good weekend mam!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting Antanie Vasquez, welcome to the channel and our community!! That inline fan cross ventilates the grow tent, it basically moves the stale air inside the tent and pushes it out the tent, I don't use the inline fan to regulate the ambient temps inside the tent. Hope this answers your question, have a good weekend!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting LilAce Pak, welcome to our community and the channel!! Yes, in order to achieve cross ventilation, one has to leave some form of vent open. On my Viviosun grow tent, I leave one of the bottom vent partially open to achieve cross ventilation, the S6 is way over kill for this tent and I have not had any problems with the tent getting sucked in!! Hope this answers your question!! Dan
Thank ya for watching and commenting machete165, welcome to our community and the channel!! I can't say that I had any charcoal residue in the bag that mine was delivered in but I can see how that's possible tho!! Have a good week!! Dan
@@HomeInTheSticks thanks bro I ordered another one for comparison, maybe it’s because of the long transport from USA to Germany, that some of it falls out. Appreciate you :)
Hello Gabby Gonzalez, welcome to the channel and our community!! I don't think you get cross ventilation in a grow tent just using the inline fan, you'd need some duct work to push the air out provided you have a vent on the bottom of the tent to suck the air in. What size grow tent or room do you have? I hope this answers your question. I thank ya for watching, have a good Wednesday!! Dan
Hello captmoa, welcome to the channel and our community!! That filter is cleaning the air being circulated in the grow tent resulting in cleaner air and hopefully reducing the amount of possible contaminates inside the tent!! Hope that answers your question!! Thank ya for watching, have a great weekend!! Dan
So you let it exhaust back into the room? By the way I have a Question if your growing cannabis if you do exhaust like your doing will my apartment smell ?
Hey Mr Pete, welcome to the channel and our community sir!! No sir, I don't grow cannabis, just lettuce and peppers!! I don't have a problem venting that tent into my shop which is 50x50. I would think that if one is growing cannabis inside an apartment, without proper ventilation, that apartment would smell like mary jane for sure!! Thank ya for watching and commenting, hope that answered your question!! Dan
I’m not understanding why would you have to make this to hang up the fan? These fans don’t come with straps to hang them in the tent with? I just bought a ac infinity tent inline fan and filter
Thank ya for watching and commenting KingFlo, welcome to our community and the channel!! I used a stretcher board because I only had 2 upper supports on this grow tent and the straps that came with the tent are useless!! The S6 that I purchased didn't come with straps either so to securely mount this fan, I had to come up with a way to span the 2 metal stretchers, hence to pieces of wood. Hope this answers your question, have a great weekend!! Dan
Preciate ya watching and commenting Mr Drew, welcome to our community and the channel!! This setup has been working good so far, gotta use what one has on hand lol!! Have a good Thursday evening!! Dan
That's a nice fan the s model if you get the t model it has a thermostat control.. and humidity control it goes on as fast as you need it automatically you might be able to get that part and just hook it to your fan and as far as your vent goes why not throw a furnace filter in front of your vent of your tent you're welcome they should have a metal thing that holds the filter itself
Hello Mr Robert, welcome to the channel and our community sir!! Yes sir, the temp and humidity control can be added to this fan, I have a small ceramic heater in the tent now that's controlled by an InkBird controller, works really good. As far as a filter, the secondary filter on the charcoal filter is working out good, but good tip on using a furnace filter on the outside of the tent!! Thank ya Mr Bob and I thank ya for watching sir, y'all have a good weekend!! Dan
Thank ya for watching brother and that fan is ginning along fine, really happy with the setup!! Yes sir, I use whatever I have on hand most of the time, but it never fails, when I need something simple, I don't have it on hand lol!! Y'all have a good weekend my friend!! Dan

Dan
Great video Bro. I really liked the idea about the Ssringer to hold the inline in place. I plan to incorporate that in my tent also.
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mr Jonathan, welcome to our community and the channel!! Have a good week!!
Ac infinity is good stuff l. Very quiet and smooth. I have the 4 inch and comes with a thermometer probe. Sub’d

Dan
How did your testing go, as far the humidity. Did you need to add intake. Also if not then was it good enough to leave the bottom vents off.
Dan
Thank you my man

Hate to tell you but the whole middle of the fan can be removed by loosening the two duct clamps enabling free access to the boltholes underneath, and for cleaning the fanblades.
Thank ya for watching and commenting Victor Supreme, welcome to the channel and our community!! preciate the insight sir, have a good weekend!! Dan
So it just vents out to the room? I’m trying to learn and that’s what I think I’ll have to do instead of it venting outside somehow
Dan

great video, just a thought the green straps you have on your bench is the style i use to hold my carbon filter up in my tent, and it lets you easily slide the filter happy growin
Dan
That’s awesome brother! You’re high tech now! Lol
Lol, thank ya for watching brother, only reason I'm high tech is because I got a good deal on that fan lol!! You have a good week Mr D!!! Dan
Dan
Good information, I've been considering getting the same one
Dan
Hi Dan
Is this system good if you are starting off growing a small amount as a beginner?
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mrs Kimberlyn!! Yes mam, this system is perfect for beginners, I'm a beginner as well!! All one would need is a cheap fan to put in one of the upper ducts in the tent to get some cross ventilation going and a grow light to get started!! Only reason I went this route was because I got a really good deal on the fan, otherwise 'd still be running the cheap fans in my grow tent!! Hope this answers your question mam!! Have a great week!! Dan
Cool setup , can't wait to see the results! I'm sure that helps a lot with mildew. Take care Dan great video

Dan
Thank you!
So is it only supposed to blow out side of the tent ? How does it keep a stable temperature for inside of the tent
Dan
I’ve connected it the same my tent is bigger I have a t8 but my tent is getting sucked in? Did you have an intake air?
Thank ya for watching and commenting LilAce Pak, welcome to our community and the channel!! Yes, in order to achieve cross ventilation, one has to leave some form of vent open. On my Viviosun grow tent, I leave one of the bottom vent partially open to achieve cross ventilation, the S6 is way over kill for this tent and I have not had any problems with the tent getting sucked in!! Hope this answers your question!! Dan
@@HomeInTheSticks would this fan be overkill for a 3x3 tent or would the 4 be good enough?
@@scarcorleon Yes sir the S6 would definitely be over kill, the S4 would be the way to go in my opinion for a 3x3 tent!! Dan
@@HomeInTheSticks Thanks a lot and good info
Is it normal that you have a bit of charcoal at the bottom of the filter bag in wich is delivered, or should there be nothing?
Thank ya for watching and commenting machete165, welcome to our community and the channel!! I can't say that I had any charcoal residue in the bag that mine was delivered in but I can see how that's possible tho!! Have a good week!! Dan
@@HomeInTheSticks thanks bro I ordered another one for comparison, maybe it’s because of the long transport from USA to Germany, that some of it falls out. Appreciate you :)
If I wanted to just buy the single fan piece, can I use that to ventilate and heat and humidify a grow tent or a room
Dan
Why do you filter the air going out of the tent?
Hello captmoa, welcome to the channel and our community!! That filter is cleaning the air being circulated in the grow tent resulting in cleaner air and hopefully reducing the amount of possible contaminates inside the tent!! Hope that answers your question!! Thank ya for watching, have a great weekend!! Dan

Thank ya for watching James and I know it's gotta be cold over there in your neck of the woods lol!!! Y'all have a good weekend!! Dan
So you let it exhaust back into the room? By the way I have a Question if your growing cannabis if you do exhaust like your doing will my apartment smell ?
Because I was thinking of exhausting out of a light fixture on the ceiling and into the attic
Just trying to figure out if that’s safe
Hey Mr Pete, welcome to the channel and our community sir!! No sir, I don't grow cannabis, just lettuce and peppers!! I don't have a problem venting that tent into my shop which is 50x50. I would think that if one is growing cannabis inside an apartment, without proper ventilation, that apartment would smell like mary jane for sure!! Thank ya for watching and commenting, hope that answered your question!! Dan
That MIGHT cause the smell of cannabis to leach into other folks apartments thru the attic!! Dan
I don't know if I'd go that route Mr Pete!! Dan
Thanks man. No videos touched on the arrows but you. 😕
Thank ya for watching and commenting Mr Raymond, welcome to the channel and our community sir!!
Dan
Nice set up

Hello Raul Chaidez, welcome to our community and the channel!!
