thanks for your time . i basically did the first setup just a lil different cause of tent brand , but im gonna go rearange some things now. Again, Thank You!
I am seeing this before my tent even ships. It is the Spider Farmer SF 1000 2x2 kit. We just got the green light (see what I did there?) here in Germany. And I am so excited, humbled, nervous...all different kinds of feelings.
@@mrshootingsteel9292 I picked mine up directly from the Spider Farmer site. Since I placed my order, there has been a 160€ price increase on the same kit. It is however confirmed to be shipping soon, SF has great customer service, as I wrote them and asked a few questions. I would also tell you to check out the major suppliers, especially NOW. there are still 420 specials going on. Good luck and happy growing! 😁
I don’t have a vent hole on the bottom but i do have a vent window screen like you do on the bottom. Can i just open one of those windows up and be ok? While running the vent from up top
Is the SF 100W led light enough for a 32" x 32" x 63" tent? I wanted a little more room to be comfortable with, and now I'm thinking the light i bought won't be enough.😢
The carbon filter is a game changer. I was growing in a cupboard and the flat stank from just one plant. I bought a second hand tent of fleabay that came with a fan and filter. Zero smell… not a whiff.
@stuartrichardson6928 i ended up getting the ac infinity grow tent and ventilation kit with the smart grow hub thing. It's amazing to see all my grow area stats away from home plus control things like my light.
I ordered a 2x4 grow tent and a led lighf. New to this so question might seem rediculous but do I need to order the ventalator, carbon filter, inline fan and controler too? I thought I just needed tent & light and I could put my little fan set inside for them to grow? Frustrated now and dont know where to get advice! 🤔😔
Carbon Filter is for the smell, if isn't a problem for you, you don't need it, the inline fan is for humidity and temperature inside the tent, the plants don't like too hot or too humid, the led heats the tent, you could open the door every day, but is a hustle.
What causes moisture inside the tent especially around the bottom? could moisture be entering in from the outside rain. or coldness? we have a small heater inside, it stays on low at 80 several hours a day, a fan from above and the exhaust fan that turns on at 82.
It's weird because when people have good/better sex is actually because electricity in all guys dicks # apparently someone stepped on ants bums and went in the ocean and now he has only got 1 leg because the shark took his leg off is crazy
It doesn't matter whether the carbon filter is on the outside or inside no matter the desired setup... whatever air is going through will filter the same, but it makes more sense to have it on the outside because the distribution of air filtration will be equal as opposed to folding it and placing on thr inside...air will go towards the path of least resistance, so it won't filter evenly or as well...so, just put it on the outside. Way more convenient to replace when the time comes..
No it’s not, it means your sucking out more air than your pulling in. Could be a problem, it should be an easy fix though. Just open up more vent holes until the flow of air seems equalized
everytime i turn my light on, my temp goes from, 76-78 up to 82ish, the inline fan kicks on but the temp NEVER drops. idk wtf to do. i feel the hair coming out the ducting tube, so idk why its not going down in temp like it should
Just put garbage bags over them very carefully and move them in your car to the new spot lol. Ive moved plants before with a buddy to a different grow house he had just set up and it was no big deal. I wouldnt try to move them if they are in flower tho you'd definitely end up breaking off some buds and stressing them out.
I'm new to this world but one thing that is driving me nuts is why aren't most people installing the ventilation outside of the tent? I understand if people have space limitations but if they don't. Why not put it outside? Because my thought is I want to maximize my grow space and these things take up including the light a lot of room that could go towards taller plants. I must be missing something. I've got a 36 inch by 36 in because of the spot that it's in. However I have two and a half feet of headroom above the tent that I can install. I'm just curious if there is anybody with advice as to why I shouldn't?
The odors are inside the tent. Therefore the carbon filter needs to be inside the tent because the air is sucked through the filter first, then the fan blows the filtered air outside the tent. Also heat is inside the tent from the lights so it needs to be exhausted outside the tent. So the system needs to be inside the tent.
And my experience, once you have your tent, set up, leave it set up. If you have to take it down for any reason, it will most likely break. Make sure it’s going to be there for a long time and you won’t have to move it.

Can you grow veggies or are these setups just for pot?
So it will go out as hot and come in as cool air?
Does this help with this smell or is the smell just something that comes with the territory? Debating on inside or outside.

The best explanation, thank you very much!!!!
What is the measurement of that tent is it a 60’ or 80’?
Put frame together up right but separate in the middle and lower it 10 inches , finish putting the top on and stretch a little into each corner

Is an in-line fan a necessity
So if my tent is in my basement it’s definitely cooler than 78 I’m going to use one of the two set ups to pull warmer air in
what about active system with inline fan ? there is zero guides for that i start to give up
I have a 2x2x4 set up what’s the best for odorless
4 inch inline fan is enough with a carbon filter
What causes moisture inside the tent especially around the bottom? could moisture be entering in from the outside rain. or coldness? we have a small heater inside, it stays on low at 80 several hours a day, a fan from above and the exhaust fan that turns on at 82.
Cold floor against warm air Condensation

What lights are those?
So if setting up in a garage, I dont have to have a fresh air supply from outside? The air inside the garage would be ok? I saved this video BTW.....
“After you’ve got the tent round the pole” hardest bit of it all skips over it 😂
I was thinking the same lol
That is grounds for a series or a least a full fledged netflix special
It's really not hard at all, self explanatory

i feel like even with the weight of the fan, you want that part to be air tight for pulling or pushing because it could get a lil smelly otherweise
How low should you light hang
Depends of what you're growing and what stage its in.

pro tip use shorter cords, also the seal between the filter and the fan MUST be perfect or smell gets out!

Beware of crappy plastic corners on generic and budget tents. These will cause more damage than you can imagine when they fail.
So true
Hopefully not spider farm😮
Wait… don’t you want the filter on the air sucking into the tent? If it’s in the fan blowing out, you’re just purifying the air leaving the tent
Yeah that’s the idea. The smell…. It doesn’t need much added air, just airflow.
Always be aware of how loud the fans may be.
Tent can be built.... Fan
.. lights... Dehumidifier... Humidifier.... And controller is all that is needed.... Save some cash where you can
