    So many people would be against this but you're making perfect sense. It's not too small for a short temporary home. I agree with you. Good job.

      Especially is you see some of the farms they are raised in Asia..liquid bottles stack as tight as possible and the guys walk across the tops of them😰

    Lovely video! I also like those 1 gal grip jar things. They are really great when you only need to jar like 10-20 fish. When I have more then that I opt for the large deli cups since they are cheap and easy to water changes daily :)

    Awesome video and advice Kasia👍
    Love the volume comparison as it gives hobbyist exactly how much water it holds as container sizes can be very misleading as seen in video.
    Thank you for sharing.
    I've a suggestion for coloring up bettas. Experiment on 1 firstly.
    First put it in 1gallon jar add very dark tannin water with ial leaves. If can't get ial try the rootibos tea extract.
    Secondly try feeding color enhanced foods like xtreme or tetra color granules.
    Finally cover the tank as to black it out for atleast 1 to 2 weeks. Only allow lighting for 30 minute twice daily feeding. Maybe you can do a video on progress if it works and give me a shout out..
    Disclaimer I'm not a professional but this has worked for me. Just remember it all depends on the genetics of the fishes and some fancy or koi marble versions stay cello so just keep that in might if you don't get desired results.
    Happy Betta Keeping. 👍

    I have some containers similar to the Mainstay one, but they came with peanut butter filled pretzels inside. 😁😋😁 Mine are President's Choice (a Canadian grocery store brand) but Costco sells their own brand, and there are others, on Amazon and elsewhere.

    You have to take in mind what the volume on the inside is. The 1 gal is larger in width where as jars are not.

      @@CreativePetKeeping I use the binie baby jars I find them easier to take pics and water changes also question how do you heat your jars could you do a vid about that because i dont like having to buy heaters for all my bettas in the jars

    • @cattfishing
      @cattfishing 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@goldtopbettas4102 can you keep them in a heated room? I have only 1 betta without a heater. And that's just because shes in a room that stay really hot with a southern facing window. (Shes not in the window of course.) Anyway, her water temp stays at a near perfect 75 degrees Fahrenheit. In the winter, i have to move some of the fish because my fireplace heats the living area too good and the tanks get too warm. I'm not entirely sure if that would work for your situation, but I've also watched many youtubers who keep fish rooms heated so they dont have to have individual heaters in every tank. There is also heat wire that I use under my turtle and frog tanks that I got second hand from a retired fish breeder that he ran behind/under all his tanks to keep heated. I am no professional in any way, so please dont take anything I say as advice. Just some suggestions that could be looked into further. Hope it was helpful:)

    • @CreativePetKeeping
      @CreativePetKeeping  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Personally I just keep my entire fishtoom hot. Which isn't ideal (because the fishroom is also my office and I have to sit there in the heat all the time) but it works. I did try to use reptile heat cables before and that works well. Inglorious bettas on youtube has a great tutorial on flexwatt heat tape that I never tried before.

    • @Fuzzyfr09

      Male betas need at least a 5gal tank. Female betas need at least 2gal. The more space the better but I suggest a 5-10gal
