TIMESTAMPS IN DESCRIPTION
I do not want to say "we're so back" until I see the player numbers tomorrow as ultimately YOU decide if we are or not. The patch is great, the DLC is full of stuff people actually wanted. It looks like Creative Assembly have seen after the last debacle that the PLAYERS decide what a game deserves and they will vote with their wallet. IF CA can keep giving us great updates and DLC like this then we're in for a good time. I HOPE things continue as expected so we can see the game we have invested so much time and money into finally fully realized and ALL our favorite characters, units and hopefully races can be implemented. Thank you everyone for the support for the last 2 weeks it has been wonderful. I will be live on twi- as thegreatbookofgrudges for a final stream before I take a day off to rest up after such a hectic embargo period. Pop by and hi and if not have a great day and I'll see you all again very soon!
sadly in terms of being back I'm not going to be able to afford the DLC until Wednesday...
also... like... I've been playing regularly anyway so I never actually left the game in the first place (I genuinely liked Shadows of Change even before the updates)
but the moment I actually have the money for it I am getting all 3
Blood for the blood god!
how do you give that group atack order to atack without making all units target the same enemy unit? i tried using shift ctrl alt and didnt managed to trigger that atack, looks really usefull so i dont need to give orders individual so my army dont break formation
I'm glad the game is improve the bad news is I will need to remove all my mods. Damn!
I have to wait for a sale to get stuff unfortunately. But they have rebuilt my faith in them, so long as they continue with this motion. A second shadows of change though, I think we might all be out. (Their attempt to repair the Shadows of Change DLC is noted and appreciated, but I'm only interested in Mr. Jade Dragon so I'm waiting on a super sale on that.)
I feel like 200 hours of playtime before release are a statement in itself ;D
Not really man when it's linked to your job
No it's still a lot, even if it's linked to your job. That's like a month and a half of work, before it's released.
I think it's fine, but the op is right, it's quite a statement.
@@blazemindgaming666 Tell that to IGN 😋
@anten9984 true enough but to be fair I should of stated for me and tgbog there's alot of love for the stuff coming or least I can presume that from what we been seeing and hearing so 200 hours is not huge numbers but still a very impressive amount of time, Ngl if I had early access god knows the hours I would have by now 😅
@@blazemindgaming666 9-5 job for 25 day no break, yea, I think not.
I’ve always said “Vanilla doesn’t mean boring”. It’s ok to have a “Vanilla” Legendary Lord in each faction as like a baseline for people trying them. But give them fun stuff to work with like what they did with Karl Franz.
exactly, there is a bunch of vanilla+ lords that could just stay basically the same, like Kroq-Gar, Queek, Louen, Greasus, Settra, Noctilus
@@Nikusarusan You can't answer "exactly" and then describe something different than the person you're responding too...
@@freedomfighter22222im still looking for the comment you are talking about
@@Nikusarusan The guy said Vanilla lords don't need to be boring, they need fun stuff like Franz, you responded with "exactly, there is a bunch of vanilla+ lords that could just stay basically the same", which the lords you listed couldn't, as Franz even before this rework was vastly more loaded with mechanics than someone like Kroq'Gar.
To get to the point Franz is at Kroq'Gar would need some serious upgrade that wouldn't look much at all like what he is today.
Tik'Tak'To would be closer to Franz but still far behind where Franz is now.
The empire is such a special case, Karl should have had something unique.
CA did good this time ,and i just hope this game stays alive for at least 5 more years cuz they can make the game a lot better than it already is
Especially since there is content for five more years
@@deusvult6164 5 years is overly optimistic, but if the dlc sells well, the life of the game will increase. It does not look so bleak anymore.
After how things went with Shadows of Change, i doubt that will happen
As someone who only bought total war warhammer 1 for the greater picture to have a proper 40k one day, yes! 5 more years of development, gathering experience with the franchise, the community and the technical requirements for the next step is absolutely worth it. @Creativeasssembly Just four words: naval battles and End times!
I hope it doesn't. Support it this year and MAYBE next year then that's it.
Move onto the next big project whether it's Warhammer 40k or something else.

@@Autechltd WE TAKE OUR LOOT, BUT DON'T GET OLD!
vampire c*%ts need rework. I like their troops, but their campaign mechanic is boring. more options needed on how to fight other than just guns, and crabs. I'd assume they will get it when my boy nagash comes. the game is way too easy now, they need to do something about that, and the end game scenarios need to be more customizable.
@@aminerkin9844one word Norsca
"you'll finally have a GOOD gunpowder based faction that wasn't nerfed multiple times to cater to the -5% of players that play multiplayer"
Let's hope the unsustainable Age of Reckoning thing can get fixed somewhat.
Someone did gave a good replacement - each Age of Reckoning becomes more expensive or cheaper with grudges, depends on how good or bad the last one was
@@indrickboreale7381 I think it would be better to just do it like 0-5% worst effect, 5-25% less bad effect 25-75% the OK effect, 75-95% Good effect, 95-100% best effect.
If that way they can have scaling somewhat (if they just make it less insane scaling) and then you're almost always be able to hit the OK effect, but needs effort for the Good effect and great use for best effect.
They could just put a max cap on it. 10-15k or something, I saw mercythemad getting a 50k age requirement xD
I honestly have no clue how CA had the idea to come up with a new race against a timer.
As if they learned absolutely NOTHING from the disaster that was the Realm of Chaos release.
We're in the Warhammer Online timeline now
Man, you blew the coverage for this DLC out of the water. I guess ou must be tired as hell, but it was totally worth it to us subbed to your channel.
I hope the devs gets a a chance to fix the daemons of chaos (daniel) campaign one day. It was an interesting concept, but really leaves a lot to be desired.
It felt like a massively overconvoluted & underpowered clusterfuck.
If you try him in co-op without knowing his kit in your sleep your co-op buddy will die of old age while you read skill tooltips on every level up & compare +3 leadership on a tuesday bodyparts after every other battle.
If they want to stick with having his research in his skill tree, all of those 3 point skills need to become 1 point skills with the tier 3 buff at the very least.
It's just dissapointing that he's supposed to be chaos undivided but barely buffs a very limited selection of units.
His bodypart could prolly be trimmed massively. Most of that stuff is just bloat. At best there are
@@adriankoch964 i like the god slayer hes fine :) i like to customization of my daemonprince
Honestly I think chaos demons may get a look after slaanesh. Certainly they need it. Throw in norsca too.
@@OriginalRAB yeah i want more slaanesh stuff sure i like other chaos god getting their things too tzeentch and slaanesh need more love also norsca too
About the Age of Reckoning mechanic for the dwarves: ive heard a lot of people make the point that "you can get around it by not revealing the map so quickly". While true in a single player campaign, for someone like me who plays mostly co-op with a friend.... The way it works currently is a massive problem and is basicly going to mean that neither one of us can play dwarves until this issue is fixed...
Apparently CA is aware of it and a fix isn't far away. Maybe even for release.
I feel like rather than line of sight, it should be dependent on settlements you own. That way, you arent punished for scouting, making allies, etc.
Not only is thst terrible for the co-op, ot gors against the fundamentals of gsmeplay - exploring the map is literally sonething a player must do to progress
Its also just a shit mechanic, that won't be fun for more than 50 hours.
Its the entire "lets create a race against a timer as a campaign mechanic" issue from the Realms of Chaos all over again.
EXACTLY, it needs to just work.
I hope after this they release some new endgame scenarios. It would be nice to have new scenarios with other races to fight against
it'd be nice if some of the current endgame scenarios were reworked first
the Skaven and Chaos Dwarf ones are pretty great as they are but all of the others are just a fairly plain and boring case where they just spawn in tons of armies and declare war on everyone.
I'd like to eventually reach a point where every race has an endgame scenario but first I'd like all the ones we already have to actually be interesting
@@Eclipsed_EmbersPP

@@Eclipsed_Embers ooooh, this guy again...
I have some words for you:
Naga are the dominant race of Khuresh and I hope Naga come out in Warhammer 3 along with Ind humans despite how "so doom and gloom is the chance" it is.
Off you go.
I think “end-game” scenarios need a massive change, almost a complete rethinking.
-stop having endgame armies focus only on player
-endgame events: very long term plagues, massive earthquakes destroying regions and settlements, chaos god alignments (bonuses to one of the surviving monogods)
Hey Nathan, that was an amazing video, and i just wanna congratulate you on your hard work with the coverage of the upcoming dlc. This is very important for the community, having content creators who are honest, work hard on their content and keep the community's best interest at mind. Good stuff.
That is a great review video. The Timestamps were perfect for what I wanted to know ( mostly just the nurgle stuff).
And for CA: the best part about the marketing was that they mostly showed what we will get. Big W!
Balancing the multiplayer only require the adjustment of price of a unit in most case. For example, you don't need to nerf the actual power of Thunderbarge, let the people have fun with how overpowered it is, but increase its price in MP so substantially that it becomes a huge investment risk if it doesn't pay out. Multipalyer folks also tend to discover things that are actually broken, like the Beastman chariot or pump wagon collision mechanic, those are things definitely not intended by developer. As for minor stat adjustment, it doesn't make that much of a difference in campaign, a few + or - MA and MD not gonna change how campaign mechanic and lord buff make something powerful. So separate patch for MP and SP is unnecessary, I rather they spend that resource on dedicated sever so both MP player and coop player can benefit.
Congrats on finishing the review!
Can't wait to get my own hands on it!
- Malekith should have a Black Council type of mechanic.
- Morathi needs the Cult of Pleasure to be properly represented and her magic specifically, but also dark magic to be more powerful. Make Arnzipal's Black Horror into an army-type utility spell perhaps. Makes zero sense that Elspeth, Gelt and others bring more magic to the table than her and her Coven. Her faction needs to feel like a cult, not as much a proper army.
- Dark Elves also need a few legendary characters. Kouran and Shadowblade would be ideal for this. Tullaris could be a legendary lord or legendary hero really. Malekith could really do with Kouran as a Legendary hero from the start.
- Feels like DE Cold Ones could use a bit of a speed boost across the board.
- Teclis and High Magic could use a buff... Free Fireball almost seems like an insult tbh. Maybe something relating to the Tower of Hoeth in terms of buffs.
Power/mechanic creep is as real as it is in the tabletop. There is ALWAYS going to be certain factions at the lower end of interesting. That being said I hope you get what interests you.
Game 2 factions are fine, but I'd love individual characters to get some extra mechanics that add flavor. Playing Malekith and Tyrion you feel like playing as the faction, not as the master of all druchii nor the genocide-happy hero of the asur. Plagues for Skrolk, begging here, literally begging...
@@OriginalRAB It wasn't really for the power of it tbh. :-) Well, perhaps Malekith could be a little better. More for immersion and replicability. Some characters just don't quite feel like they are very accurately represented on the power-scale as such, but I'm absolutely not saying the DE and HE's are not very good overall.
How about a Thrones style rework dlc for Slaanesh, Dark and High elves? I feel like there's lots of good potential there.
@@josiahstreetman8806 That is exactly what I'm hoping for :-)

Thanks for all the content and information! Have some rest while watching the player numbers haha
Great video Nathan. Way to stick with it during your funk period. I'm excited for the release based on the perspective you've shared.
Honestly for Skrolk I just want his old plague building back. The building he got for capital regions that just caused plagues to erupt there was a huge boon to his faction. If they gave him that back I think he'd do far better.
Thank you! Awesome review!
Thanks for all the effort, Nathan 👍
Much love dude 🙏
I am very much looking forward to this update. I did very much enjoy this review. Thank you for all of your hard work on this.

I like Ironsides sticking with musket. Especially after NuKislev.
200 hours of gameplay before release is wild. Well done.

I'm so much looking forward to this DLC! Can't wait for tomorrow. I've no idea who I'm gonna play first - at first I thought for sure Nurgle, but after seeing your streams with the others, I'm not quite sure anymore. They all looks so great and I'm so happy about this!
Same here. Took me half an hour in faction select to decide on Malakaisson first.
It's been a blast honestly. Haven't had this much fun with dwarves since Terrormortars chord stacks.
@@PuddingXXL Terrormortars as in Iron Daemon Dreadquakes? Yeah that's mighty fun!
I would be interested in a video going over the factions in the game and assess them with regards to missing content and required reworks. What mechanics could be added to generic LL as mentioned in this review. Top notch review as always
I will never support pre orders. I think the practice has been horrible for the game industry as it has moved from being treated as investments by potential customers in a product to being treated as a forwarded loan to use however the company wants. The whole exercise of pre orders should be abolished.
You can't pre-order Thrones of decay, can you?
@therealikitclaw8124 I would rather pre order thrones of decay than witness the wholesale replacement of the Irish people by some foreign bankers
@@theloniuspunk383 I would rather pre-order thrones of decay than be skinned alive.
Thrones wasn’t available for preorder bro
I really hope the AI is good at using thunderbarges and actually recruits them too.
Thanks for the in depth look at everything going on in and outside of this dlc. Did about 20 turns with Malakai last night and I'm enjoying it so far! Throgg didn't stand a chance!
Thanks a lot for that work!
Really hyped for ToD
Looks like Warhammer 3 is back on the menu, boyz!
“If you don’t explore the map and wait 100 hours before confederating you’ll barely notice the bug!”
8 hours in I confederated in. Didn't see a point before because my plan was to build a HUGE Dwarf Empire with my allies. Sadly Belegar failed and had to be absorbed.
He said 100 turns I believe. The confederacy thing should be an easy fix for CA. I’m worried on the age of reckoning mechanic there going to cave to the Easy/easy player base and make it a cake walk to get the highest level
Nice video, I appreciate your heart felt discussion at the end of this video. I think I can speak for a lot of people, we too hope that CA has learnt from the last DLC. I am hoping no more layoffs. I am also hoping SEGA sees the fan support and allows CA to continue to make great games for us. Cheers.
While i look forward to the Karl Franz Changes i hope his campaign doesn´t change too drastically. I´m one of the few who actually enjoy his campaign which boils down to you running around and trying to fight off the Legendary Lords surrounding you from all sides. I like that you feel pressured from turn 1 and it never really let stops.
AI Franz definetly steamrolls more now and isn't as easily eaten up by Vlad.
He is still very fun but the first thing you'll notice is the border fortresses bordering bretonnia and our vampire wizard boi.
I've still had a lot of fun with him but his campaign definitely feels different and more empire focused now.
The summon mechanic is so satisfying tho.
Getting abused by Kazhrak or Fetus? Summon 7 stacks of roided nobles directly to the bronze fortress and you've got no problems anymore lol
Nurgle's back baby!
"Let root rot and bower blight, to feed the pestilence of abandoned hope"
On mortal lords for the other monogods I think Arbaal has been mentioned enough that it makes sense for him to turn up for Khorne soon, Dechala is an obvious shoe-in for Slaanesh, and Egrimm Van Horstmann for Tzeentch.
When Van Horstmann I expect/hope that the Changeling is moved elsewhere as he would make the most sense I think for a Tzeentch character appearing in the regions of the empire.
It's cool to see more factions get access to the Cataclysm spells in Immortal empires
People who have purchased the DLC are reporting that none of the non-Lord, non-Hero units added by the DLC have unique voicelines and instead simply reuse lines from other units. I didn't hear anything about this in your review. Can you confirm whether this is a bug or if those units do, indeed, reuse voice lines from other units?
If it is a bug, I hope it is patched quickly.
If they are using recycled voice lines, I feel like this should have been given a decent bit of attention in your review as the inclusion of these lines is HUGE for immersion and from a professional production value standpoint. It's this level of production and added immersion that makes the difference between a DLC you want to pay for and a free mod from the workshop. It matters. You say in your review that you want consumers to make an informed decision, but not covering an omission of this size isn't giving your audience a chance to be properly informed. Leaving out voice lines is leaving out half of what you pay for when you buy DLC units.
I really hope this is a bug. I wanted Thrones of Decay to do well. I really liked what I saw up until I heard about the voice lines. It was going to be an auto purchase for me, but cutting corners by leaving out voice lines shows me that CA will be back to Shadows of Change level disrespect for their customers as soon as they can get away with it.
I'm still waiting for Egrimm van Horstman, Scyla Anfingrimm and Arbaal the Undefeated. I want to see a flesh hound mount, a giant spawn and a Caster with Lore of Tzzeench and Light!
Gotrek and Felix's adventures
I just want to add that while all this content looks amazing. We should be careful in saying that things are back on track. Remember that we were saying the same thing last year with Chaos Dwarfs, which were also an amazing addition, probably my favorite and most well thought out race in the whole franchise. And then afterwards SoC happened... The important thing for CA to understand is to keep up this consistency in quality and fairly priced amount of content going forward. Which, you do mention in the video, but I just wanted to stress it even further, consistency is the key, community cannot allow itself to relax in expecting a standard from CA, because it is obvious that CA can do it.
Anyway, great and enjoyable review, as well as all the preview stuff you did. Thank you for all that, and keep up the amazing work!
Fantastic overview Nathan, think you speak for a lot of us with those closing thoughts too. Really appreciate the work you put in bringing these videos to us.
finally that day has come!
Really solid DLC, glad to see them getting back on track again. Don't understand the ire towards the multiplayer scene really; it feels really misdirected. Seems pretty obvious that CA have been [seemingly] focused more on that end bc that end requires less work; it's a lot of tinkering with the numbers and tweaking what's already there, instead of expanding the game in a meaningful way. Either way, MP guys seem to have a lot to like in this pack too. Lots of additions for everyone to enjoy. Makes me excited to see more WH3 again after being kinda burned out on it. I hope to see Azhag and Grimgor get something cool like Gelt and Franz. Skarsnik and Belegar at least have their unique campaign goals and stuff even if it could be improved, but IMO the first priority should be the original 2 lords for each WH1/WH2 race (assuming they don't already have unique campaigns like Manfred or Kemmler now do). Give Azhag, Grimgor, Teclis, Tyrion, Skrolk, Queek and Mazda/Kroq-gar something cool and we'd be in a pretty good place.
Honestly, the Thinderbarge needs a bit of a tweak in Singleplayer, too. I am NOT looking forward to facing four of those things come the “A Grudge too Far” event, and 2/3rds of my bullets ‘missing’ because the gasbag on the Thunderbarg isn’t part of the hitbox.
The bombs should probably be a limited-use ability as well, just to give the player something more to micro. Ideally, a 1 or 2-use unitbuster.
They should also have unit caps like the Dread Saurians if they don't already.
@@benderbendingrodriguez6375 why unit cap them? They cost huge amounts of upkeep and in single player I want a doom stack with them. Capping them will only reduce variety of gameplay for me.personally.
@@PuddingXXL You could still do that it would just take a long time and you would need to work for it by getting a bunch of tier 5 buildings. Maybe also have some skills for increasing it like with Tomb Kings.
Fighting just one of them especially as a faction not equipped to deal with them like Slaanesh or Beastmen is gonna be painful enough. Fighting several is gonna be a nightmare.
Again if Dread Saurians have a unit cap then I don't see why they shouldn't.
I love your work Nathan. You are literally my number 1 for WH content. Keep the education coming pls. I look forward to the future of GBG and even Warhammer 3.
I’m hopeful that with the monkey king dlc cathay will get the updates it needs, caravan system up to the chaos dwarf convoy level, more variety for great bastion invasions are the main two things the race needs.
You've done it Nathan. You have become what you've always wanted to be; An Exalted Champion to the Dark Prince Slannesh. Praise be upon your ascension to his/her side in your road to Daemon Prince
My time will come!
@@TheGreatBookofGrudges so.... when's the Slannesh lore video? I've been wondering since you did one for all the other chaos gods back in the early days of TWWH3. Surely a true discipline such as yourself would want our curiosity pray upon our deepest desires to listen upon the words of She Who Thirsts
we are so back!
The only idea i have to limit the Dwarf Grudge problem is that instead of calulating the next amount based on all the grudges you can see it instead has an upper limmit that is linked to the ammount of settlements and Characters you have on the map.
It would also kind of fit thematically the more dwarfs you controll the more grudges they want you to settle.
Maybe let it have a base count of idk 2000 and then add 400 per majour settlement and 200 per minor settlement (so around 1k per region, on average) + 500 per Legenday Lord and 250 per generic Lord (the people have expectations of their champions).
The problem with that could be that people feel punished for playing well so maybe add to the Legenday grudges a -10% Grudges required reward so that it represents your people being happy and more content with your rule.
Outstanding game. Own all of the content. Play for hours a day. ... Over the years, when my attention has wandered to other video games or other hobbies, what has brought me back to TWW is the Indiepride and Turin MULTIPLAYER videos, cinematics, and commentary. Grudges, here, was just on my periphery of experience. Recently, the magnificence of the single player, around the world, experience has really caught my attention, and Grudges content (and, the other single player guys) has moved to the fore. ...
Thanks a bunch for all your work.
Lore full mortal with Tamurkhan? Dude had hordes of demons in his army and he even had Epidemus as a captain of his forces.
The lair he made outside of Pfieldorf before marching on Nuln was an entire Nurgle biosphere filled with hordes of plague toads and plague bearers on the inside.
I think they put so much focus on MP balancing in the past because it adds reach to the game they couldn't get otherwise, for example through content creators or active competitive communities. I completely share your opinion on the campaign though and I am happy that with this patch they are (hopefully) finally starting to fix more things than they break.
I haven’t purchased any WH3 DLC content yet, but I really appreciate some of the new stuff. I plan to get one of the lords right away, and another one not long after. I hope that CA is able to see that releasing a good product will make them money, especially when the barrier to entry is lowered
Skrolk must be my most played faction before the patch.
Haven't played him since the plague changes and it must have been a noticeable nerf to him, but I still like him for how vanilla he is.
- Discount on thematic buildings
- Upkeep reduction for thematic units
- Your plagues deal attrition, i.e. damage. Even your plague spell in combat is just area damage. Not that the buffs/debuffs aren't nice, but Nurgle already has plenty of that especially since the update.
I would love to keep him as a faction that just deals damage with plagues. Additional effects shouldn't be built into his plagues, but instead be options that you can unlock in the plague buildings (including the infinite plague undercity building) if you'd like to trade in damage potential for them.
Thanks. I haven't played in a year. Maybe time to dive back in
Little bit of a spoiler for Malakaissons adventure battle with chorfs.
Love how they made the supply train quest of chorfs into the antithesis of the adventure battle. Also nice bait CA. You'll be the ine paying for half my army being destroyed by reinforcing terror mortars. Without an airforce you're boned.
One of the funnest scripted battles I've had yet
My biggest fear here is the power creep, units should be interesting rather then keyboard face rolling. While one of WH2's best expansion was 'potion of speed', perhaps with WH3 they could up the difficulty and add fun dilemmas to the game.
I hope that this DLC does great and is a shot in the arm (Hey stay away Festus). Because I wanna see the universe expanded. I wanna see a Ind faction, I wanna see Dogs of War and Araby.
epic review, thanks grudges, u madman. this dlc is gonna be awesome. but the age of reckoning needs fixing.
As a Lizardmen player I am indeed crying in the corner.
Your time will come I have foreseen it
i am pretty sure units like Thunderbarge and the Landship are playtests for 40k units.
They test multiple weopons on one unit, different armor for different directions and so on.
Let's hope they find their way again.
I'm excited to play this.
Definitely buying the entire dlc here despite not planning to ever play Nurgle.
Never had any interest in Nurgle until this dlc. Looks like it'd be fun for a shorter realm of chaos campaign, collecting the lords along with some fun new units
Yeah I'm not that interested in Nurgle either, but for the 2 or 3 bucks extra I might as well. I'm probably gonna play it at some point, but definitely not first.
@@jaspermooren5883 Same here. Started with Malakaisson and it's been a damn blast. Dwarves feel like.proper dwarves now. Empire is too vanilla for me and Im wanting to try out felt before the death cult.
Dwarves however are chefs kiss so far
Hope to get dlc at the weekend dwarfs campaign look really good. I like the idea of getting the other legendary Lords in the dwarf faction even if they are defeat, I hope they put this system to all faction because it would allow you to beef up your faction better through the campaign.
I'm really excited for this DLC. The reworks were sorely needed for all three factions, the units are amazing, the lords are very welcome, and so much more went so well inspite of the issues that will always crop up here and there. I can't wait to get this DLC and try out all the lords and units for each of the factions.
25:00 These 'starter location choices' like Gelt can also help make the world a bit more immersive with less AI-controlled Legendary Lords starting in random spots on the worldmap. There should be a difference between AI Legendary Lord locations (they should be put in their own cultural-zone of the map) and one for Player Campaign start locations. (Those can remain as they are) Because the whole motivation for Certain Lords ending up in Lustria or Cathay or w/e is a diverse campaign experience. You can also have both?
When I play as Tyrion I want to be able to recruit other Legendary Lords but most of them are too far away.
As someone graduating in Computer Science in 3 months with a huge interest in the gaming industry... these last few years with all these layoffs are extremely disheartening...
Games industry in the past 30 years been at the bottom in terms of job security and pay compared to other sectors fo} such a diploma. Too many people naively want to combine their passion with their career and end up not getting either. (working on a shit game you hate + no time & enjoyment to play games anymore + 1/3 of pay you'd make working at a "boring" company with similar skill requirement but much better hours.
Your best chance is to go indie dev at the side while freelance work pays house&food and pray your project gathers a solid crowd, like Starsector, Stardew, Dwarf Fortress or Manor Lords. You'll need serious multidisciplinary & coding talent & esp software architecture experience for this tho.
You could try to find a gig somewhere where you can ga?n C++ experience & find a good mentor, since that'll help you beyond the limits of the visual language recipes in Unreal. Alternatively a C# job & then go Unity.
@@adriankoch964 This is solid advice!
This looks like a well done DLC that I'll surely buy !
While I love the Immortal Empire map, I wish they would add maps that focus on a smaller region like the Old World in Warhammer 1 with more region/settlement.
I'm really excited to play. Thanks for the coverage.
I own all 3 games, each of them since launch, and every single piece of downloadable content… with the exception of shadows of change. For thrones of decay, I can’t wait to give them my money. Keep producing quality content and we will support it endlessly
Excellent review mate. I think it's a great time to return to Warhammer 3
"This is the true timeline, i don't care what everyone says."
Ok... convinced me to sub XD
(Also i really wish multiplayer and single player would be different games/units. MP is a cancer for any gameplay in this game.)
I do love the update. But I’m excited to see what people come up with in terms of mods and updates to current mods.
Do you have a download link so I can support you with my purchase? I know you have issues with them re pre orders but thought you might have one given no pre orders.
I do not :) your likes, comments and good vibes are the best support I can ask for
Yo cool review but I actually did want the things in SoC. Doesn’t change the debacle but weird to assume you speak for everyone in regards to the content we got
He does that a lot, comes across as a bit entitled
Looks great! Tbh though I'm going to wait for a little while until the mods I play with are all updated 😅
I cannot wait to get my hands on this DLC.
Very nice ❤
Everything looks right. I was really worried they wouldn't get the price point right, after the last disaster. This was a smart move
I am actually very excited about the release and new patch. If everything is as it looks based on your review I intend to buy all three DLCs as a bundle and also play Warhammer 3. Haven't really been excited for much Warhammer 3 related since before release, but all of this looks like some very positive developments.
Thanks
This DLC being good it seems really makes me excited for a good Slaanesh dlc to come. Playing a N’Kari campaign now and having a lot of fun with the mechanics once I figured out the ideal play-style for this faction. I just wish Slaanesh had A) more units and B) more unit variety. I understand that CA is limited by GW and the lore, but with the Old World coming out I can’t imagine a better time for GW to actually create some new demonic units. I feel like from watching your previous videos on the subject that any 5 units added for Slaanesh would be limited; therefore, I feel like GW and CA for a Slaanesh dlc should get together to add the limited remaining units plus create or envision a new unit or two for Slaanesh that never had a tabletop model.
Hi mate! I was wondering why i couldnt find you on youtube, when did you switch your streams on twitch?
Streams went there around 2 years ago :) I wanted to diversify!
When I first heard about this DLC I was pretty indifferent as I didn't really care about any of these factions, but now I have to say I'm pretty excited to finally give Empire and Dawi a go. And as for Nurgle? Well, more defeat traits to collect I suppose.
I've played almost 700 hours now in this game. You as a content creator likely crush my play time. But outside of mmorpgs there are very few games I can play that many hours.
This setting is my life tbh :)
@@TheGreatBookofGrudges Warhammer and WH 40k are my favorite settings well and Dune but no one cares about making cool Dune games.
I have been loving these videos and seeing you reinvigorated for the game. You are hands down my favorite WH CC and seeing you so excited for the game again and all of the content CA has provided keeps all of us excited!
I never played an Empire campaign ever, but i heard "Napoleon Total War in Warhammer 3" Might gonna have to get the DLC afterall!
I have never played nurgle but this makes me want to
Been waiting for eons for the Dwarf and empire updates! I'm definitely purchasing this one. Been watching some of the content creators and the new stuff looks great.
I'd like to see Vampire Coast, Vampire Counts and Skaven get updates. I'm super pumped for this DLC and I know that the rest of the mono god factions are going to be updated next but it would be nice to see some additions like skrolk getting more plague system/mechanics. On that note though, I think Ku'gath probably needs a little more ooomph to boost plagues. Just my thoughts.
I would have loved to get shield bearers for my bearling lord...
Great review, thanks GBG.
definitely going to have to get this one and do at least another empire and dwarf campaign if not several
