Beat the drum huh.. appropriate, especially for back in the day when drum solo's were cool. =)

Wow. Australia pumps out some awesome talent, don't we? - nope, seriously don't even continue that thought. It's not opinion, it's FACT :)
Ok, so I've never been a fan of the Oils.. at all, lol, it's just not the .. genre, I suppose, that appeals to my taste in music. But CHECK EM OUT! hahaha, especially live, there's no denying their coolness though. I mean heres a dude who's obviously quite the bad dancer, yet who cares? he's like, "Yeah well, probably not that good of a dancer but.. I got some goddamn relevent shit to say! Stuff that matters, and MAN am I passionate about it. So c'mon fellas, YEAH!"
Then commences to illistrate said passion by completely disregarding the dance protocols of the era, in favour of just flat out singing from his heart and letting his body move in the moment :) I mean, c'moooon - that IS cool!
Peter Garret, I'm not surprised you went on into politics, with that fire in your belly. I bet when you made it you had so so SO many good ideas and plans and changes you would make.. Sigh. My bet is, it didn't take you long at all to discover just how filthy dirty the hands of our 'leaders' are.. grubbing around for dirt on each other, forfeiting environment for promises and bribes, ultimatums.. Ugh, I can't imagine how it (current/modern) politics must look from the inside. The outside is a rotting corpse, fetid and foul, of a once worthy concept.. "democracy". Even the word smacks now of lies and greed and selfish agendas - Nooo Peter, I admire you for giving it a go, but (just my opinion) you were/are just far to accomidating to that old rogue: Common Sense. More than that, you are a decent human who passionately advocated changes and attempted to slay ignorance. An old and wiley foe among the slaves, err.. that is, PUBLIC.
THAT JUST WONT DO MR Garret! fancy wanting to actually implement CHANGE! sheesh, that threatens the global corporate monopolies, the delicate balancing act of seeming to work for a better future whilst repressing free energy tech and quietly removing outspoken inventors. It threatens the -
Okay I'll stop there. I'm getting myself all worked up and angry. Consequently I seem to have made what was to be a simple comment, into a lengthy monologue on what our Goverment has become and - had I continued - probably the merits of non voting and many other things Im sure. SORRY youtuber's!
Pride in the awesomeness of an aussie band who's singer doesn't give a crap how he looks when hes living in the moment and doing something he loves - and how many ppl ended up thinking it a pretty cool (original at the very least!) dance style eh? There's a moral there... somewhere :)
