This was exact ambience when I was a kid. Remembering random kids having fun, some people passing by playgrounds and hearing dogs barks never been so fun to hear.
My favorite memories come from the winter time when I could hear the wind blowing through the cold wooden slats of the fence with dogs barking in the distance and the faint rumbling of cars driving down the roads.

Yup I know the feeling. It's suffocating and comforting at the same time. It's nostalgia and longing for a days past. Especially with the sound of children enjoying themselves. One time we were those children, waking up early to go out and play with our friends. I literally can't sleep if I remember the same feelings at night. It's kinda scary. The same feeling I get after watching old cartoons/show from 2000s' era Nickelodeon or CN.
I wish towns still sounded like this. These days all you hear are cars, cars and more cars. I live in a large town and I cannot remember the last time I heard a dog or a bird. As for the sound of children playing, forget it. This video reminded me of how my town sounded 20 and 30 years ago before every household had 3 cars and children stopped coming outside to play.
This is really nice. My adhd requires a lot of stimuli for me to be able to function. I live in a quieter neighborhood so this is helping me better imagine my goal of being able to move to a more lively place which in turn is helping me actually get up and move. Thanks for such a quality recording.

Take me back to 2012 when the new SimCity came out and I was at home at a kid binge-watching tons of TH-camrs playing the game. Now as an adult with the game and a gaming computer... 😐
Do you think we could get one of a rainy day in the city also? things like splashing of footsteps in the rain, hear the sound of the spray cars send up while driving past in the rain, maybe even a few noises like doors closing etc or car horn in the distance? And of course most importantly the rain itself hitting the pavement along with other things, faint noise of it hitting the wall, or tin faintly as well perhaps?
