Typically, there are doors between kitchen and living room in a Japanese house but this is quite a unique spacious layout. Actually I like it. I feel very comfortable here :)

Funny, the artwork had a couple odd mistakes, like how the kitchen isn’t separated from the tatami room, and there’s a kotatsu during summer, but all of it flows so harmoniously it doesn’t feel strange. Beautiful work.
Aww, this is absolutely gorgeous and makes me feel nostalgic for somewhere I've never even been. The sound of the clinking dishes is quite lovely and reminds me a bit of being little and hearing my father already in the kitchen when I would wake up. He passed away suddenly a few years ago so anything that reminds me of him is always a comfort. Thank you for making this! (TH-cam recommended your channel and you have so many beautiful ambiences. Yes i really love this. I grew up loving japanese culture and language and music and this like makes me feel so good to look at the picture and invision myself in a city in japan. Its my goal to get there. I love that you were able to relate to it so personally
