Hey bellhopper I have a 700 I just picked up this week I was wondering what your recommendations are for doing oil seals special technique or a trick to getting the old ones out thanks really enjoy your content
Could you do a video on the bar bolts, and what to do without the bar plates? Thank you. I just got a saw with the wrong bolts, no bar plates, and no tensioner. Can I use a husky tensioner?
question for you , when installing a clutch sprocket on a pro mac 10-10 were does the solid and vented side go , does it make a difference. I was told the vented side with the holes faces the engine and the solid smooth side faces the clutch drum, is this the proper way of installing it, thanks.
@Bellhopper mcculloch chainsaws You mentioned Brian (couldn't understand last name) that cut the gasket for you. Do you have a link or can you tell me how to spell the last name? Thanks in advance. Love your McCulloch videos and eventually, I'll send you a Mac to get some work done.
Hey buddy yea we can do that i just have to get the gaskets we are still tuning the specs just a bit im building a saw now with all of them for testing
I've had good results running Non ethenol 91-92 oct with a 40:1 oil fuel mix using a high grade synthetic ISO-L-EGD or JASO FD rated 2 Stroke oil. I've heard guys speak of running a conventional 2 stroke oil ranging from 16-32:1. They say at 16 it smokes like your burning old tires and stinks like 💩, and tends to foul plugs and leave carbon in your exhaust, but runs well and keeps all seals and gaskets and diaphrams soft and supple. Running to rich an oil mix can scour cylinder walls I've heard though, most especially when using modern high performance synthetics. I'd go with a 32:1 using a conventional 2 stroke oil and see how you feel with it and adjust depending on your personal preference from there. Its a good launching point being its a good middle marker point of reference
Yeah brother seel all saved me on my gas tank on my 10 10 s love that stuff you the one Jeremy always watching your content brother
Thank you, Bellhopper! I tried the gasket dry, without much luck. The Seal All and a touch off the spacer makes a lot of sense👍✌

I'm struggling with my trigger spring. The safety isn't engaging/bouncing back. Any idea?
What fuel ratio do you use for this saw. I just bought a 10 10S and can’t find any definitive info on this. Arborsite says 40:1 or 50:1. Thanks.
How bout some homelites (SXL-12) uncle Dave ok with them ?
Idk he got all yellow stuff💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤
I have a pm 55 what's the difference from a 10-10s and the pm 55 ?
Points on the 55 and its magnesium the 10 10s is alumuinm
@@bellhoppersaws Is one better than the other is the porting the same?
The 55 weighs less but the porting is bout the same
Last question what's the best carb to swap on to this saw to get rid of the fixed jet it came with?. thanks! learning alot
Just ordered one of those rubber viton gaskets off the eBay for my 10-10. We’ll see how it holds up I guess.

Hey buddy yea we can do that i just have to get the gaskets we are still tuning the specs just a bit im building a saw now with all of them for testing
What would you say is the best fuel mixture for these old saws?
