Quote from New Life newsletter: Plant A Seed Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle with your hands in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening planting will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both alike will be good. Ecclesiastes 11:6 We are full of energy and in need of direction. When that energy is guided toward creative achievement, the results can be spectacular. Plant the seed of encouragement in the fertile ground of a person’s life, and it will grow into magnificent accomplishments. Anyone has the capacity to do great things, yet far too few know it or believe it. No matter how fertile the ground may be, if no seed is planted, nothing will grow. How many lives have been wasted in misery and destruction because they never received even the smallest seed of positive encouragement? A seed is tiny. Yet when it is planted in the right place and at the right time, and nurtured with care, that tiny seed can grow into a ceaselessly abundant harvest. Think of the lives around you where the seed of encouragement can take root and grow. Think of the difference you can make when you encourage yourself and when you offer your encouragement to others. Think of the seeds that you have the opportunity to plant. Spread the seeds of encouragement far and wide, and delight in the bountiful harvest that they will surely bring. Father in heaven, we want to plant good seeds today. Show us how we can encourage someone who’s having a hard day or spend a little extra time with someone instead of on our phones. Help us to see what we do as the seeds they really are, and plant them well. In Jesus name, AMEN! Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.

Quote from New Life newsletter: Did You Show Up? You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You-in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Isaiah 26:3 Did you show up for work today? Sure, your bones and skin and clothes and hair are there, but did you show up, too? Do you bring your true and valuable self to the things you do? If you’re going to do it, if you’re going to be there, show up with the best you have. Many times we defeat ourselves before we even start, because we fail to commit our best to the effort. Anyone is capable of excellence. Anyone is capable of greatness. All that’s required is to show up, to truly show up and put the whole of one’s being into the effort. Every person alive is filled to the brim with value and possibilities, with passion, with purpose. Whenever all that abundance is focused and directed, the result is an undeniable greatness. Show up with all you have, and great things will happen. Father in heaven, we thank You for our jobs, our families and everything we get to do today. We ask that as we go about our varied days, would You keep us ever mindful of being fully present. Whatever we do help us to do it to the very best we can, not half there or unengaged, but fully there. In Jesus name, AMEN! Wherever you are, be all there.
Quote from New Life newsletter: Don’t Waste It He who is careless in his work is a brother to him who destroys. Proverbs 18:9 Imagine a giant warehouse full of fresh fruits and vegetables. In this warehouse, there is enough nutritious food to feed thousands of people. Now, consider what would happen if the food just sat there, if the warehouse doors remained locked. It would spoil and then it would rot. Before long, the bountiful harvest that could have been so useful to so many, would be worthless. What a terrible waste! Now consider that the days, the moments and the opportunities in your life are even more perishable than fresh produce. A day that is not lived to the fullest, becomes useless when it is over. A moment that is wasted with negative, limiting thoughts can never be reclaimed. Opportunities not acted upon bring nothing but stinging regret. What a terrible waste! Don’t let them spoil from neglect. Use the good things you have, to nourish your life and the lives of those around you. Anything less is a terrible waste. Father in heaven, today we are learning how the moments of this day, much like fruit will spoil if not used. Help us not to take for granted the “fruit” before us this day. Help us to act on the moments You bring our way and use them well. Help us to look back at the end of the day and know we didn’t waste it. In Jesus name, AMEN! The best preparation for the future is a well-spent today.

Hi Bellhopper, what would be the ideal max RPM on a stock PM10-10 loaded in the wood (pulling a 20" full house/full chisel chain, if it matters)? Thanks in advance. S
Not sure about nowadays, but I do know used to be Rotary stuff as a whole was low, low quality, as compared to Stens, Sunbelt, Prime Line, etc...I remember their carburetor kits, diaphragms, etc. were dicey looking, made off-center, bad fit, poor quality materials....
Help. Have an old chainsaw. McCullough Mac 10-10. Probably 70's. Starts fine and runs great for 20 seconds. Then dies. Fires right back up. 20 seconds. Then dies
@@bellhoppersaws I'm no mechanic so not sure. Can't find anyone in my area that wants to try and fix. The whole "old and can't find parts" thing. But could it be a clogged muffler? This muffler sits flat under the fins. Looks like I have to take a lot apart to get it out
Let me tell ya, I have 2 10-10's that I have tried everything I know to do to make them run and I just can't figure them out. Torn down and installed new rings, bearings, seals, gaskets. Cases sealed right as well as the case bolts inside the oil reservoirs. Points clean and set properly. New NGK plugs, and freshly rebuilt carburetors, fresh fuel. Not one single pop from them even though they have good spark and great compression. I have many Mccullochs but these two just won't crank.
