Surprised he skipped over the whole Elizabeth becoming a pirate lord and then pirate Queen in like 20 minutes of run time and it being super easy, barely an inconvenience.

These days the only reason CGI doesn't look real is when not enough time was put into it
Back then it took time, dedication and strategic placement of light to make sure it seemed real in the first place.
A lot of the good CGI today you won't even notice.

If you're doing your job for your king, you're a privateer; if you're doing your job for other kings or doing it for your own gain, you're a pirate. Queen Elizabeth supposedly held a sham trial for one of her pirate lord (as in, a noble Lady that goes pirating with her staff in her free time, not "Pirate Lords" like in the movie) because she caused diplomatic incident when her crew seized German ship belonging to one of Queen's friend.

Hey Ryan! As a former Disney film development person, I love your series! Can you do one on an oldie: Dragonheart (1996), with Dennis Quaid and Sean Connery as the voice of the Draco, which is celebrating our 25th Anniversary this month! As someone who worked on the editing, we are well aware that we have some major plot holes! Would love to see if you agree... 😁

Oh yeah, I vaguely remember that movie from my childhood. While we’re at it, Roald Dahl’s “the witches” could be fun if he hasn’t done that yet

I've probably watched The Last Unicorn about eight million times by now. It took up an alarming amount of my childhood. Same with Labyrinth and The Princess Bride.
