This is the first video that I found that explained in detail how to use a brayer. Plus how to avoid stripes!

Only found you yesterday. I feel like I am with a friend, you are so natural and easy to follow and NOT 100% perfect which is sooooo attractive. It is nice to see a normal person who, like the rest of us, can’t find something they had a few seconds ago. We ALL do that. You inspire confidence. I saw your vid for using using mica powder with versa mark just before hearing my daughter was going into theatre to have a C section with our first grandchild. I needed a distraction to take my mind off it. So, I set to with my powders, embossing ink pad and stamps. Not only did I get great results, now each time I use that process, it will bring back happy memories. By the time Francesca Lily (Frankie) was born, I was a dab hand at this, new to me, method. Thanks.

Yay! This has been a blast from the past! A very good one too!
What 'The Queen of Clarity' can't do without a brayer ain't worth knowing peeps! Barbara is an awesome tutour and an absolute gem of a crafts-woman too! Back in the good old days when everything was fresh and super exciting to a newbie paper-crafter I was head-over-heels in-love with all things inky! (I knew this super-woman as Barbara Grey back in the day!)
I found my soft rubber 'Speed-ball' brayer at the bottom of my old craft trolley / rainbow stack o' drawers just last week. I last used the stash in it/them a good 10 -15 years ago!! Sooo, yes the dust has been well and truly shaken/blown/washed off and I'm ready to go for another fair few years of crafting into my retirement!
I'm now working as a self-taught Arts & Crafts tutor/teacher and have turned my life-time hobby/pastime (formally 'Star Bright Designs' for Stampin' Up!) into a small home based business/job all of my own and I'm lovin' it! 'Bags, Tags 'n' Boxes' (bespoke packaging for all your gift giving) is the name of my business! CHSI stitches 2018 here I come!
Thanks for the refresher tutorial Barbara - it's been fun catching up with you!

This is such a helpful video. I've had a brayer for quite some time, but have only used it once. This gives me a better idea on how to spread the ink without leaving lines. Thanks!!!

Hi Barbara. I love this and all your videos, I find them all very inspiring and educational. I found this particularly good as you tend to think brayering is something you just do, when in fact you have shown us specific techniques that will save us time, lost artwork and disappointment. There are so may inks out there too, I'm just starting out in 'stamping and ink techniques so I've been a bit confused. Now I know I should be looking at dye-based inks and coated paper, which narrows down the choices (and my 'covert' expenditure ;). Loving Clarity products too. Thanks again

Loved using my brayer years ago after watching you on TV. But I had a momentary lapse in concentration and rolled it across a rainbow ink pad in the wrong direction (90 degrees). The ink pad is ruined and I recently discovered they don't make them any more by Adirondack :( Any ideas for a similar replacement ? Thank you kindly.

Barbara, I so enjoy your videos! I packed away my brayers long ago, but now I can get them out again thanks to you. I went to your website to order the blending mat and coated card. However, the card is labeled UK & EU only. I'm in the US, so I guess I can't order it. Do you know why that is?
