Interesting test, but we need more information, such as what chip is in the S24 and whether the S23 Ultra, S24+, and S24 Ultra screen settings are set to WQHD.
Easy to see that in browsing test LTPO screen on S23 ultra, and s24s makes a difference as s23 plus can only drop to 48hz for example. In youtube pretty much everything will be at 30 or 60fps so no difference.
Now run the same tests on 5G or LTE and watch the Exynos drop quicker. Exynos modems are quite less efficient than QC and they do lose to the SD based devices.
Honestly not always simply the case that's why it's important to do these tests. My S22U battery life was pretty poor and got got. Huge difference when they replaced it with an S23U cuz it broke. So glad it broke tbh lol.
Seriously considering getting the s24 plus. I have a base s23, which is great, but I kinda wish that I would've got the plus for the size and battery life. I can find a refurbished s24 plus for like $700.
Everything nice and good... But let's be honest... my S23 plus for 480€, don't see anywhere the sense to change updates until 2028... only from the time I get the predecessor before the latest... because they are then cheaper and get long updates... which saves you money and you still get the latest on the market... the predecessor who has even fewer bugs than the latest one due to many updates.
@@MVPMTKING from the disassembly videos, the battery cell itself looks to be the same, however the cabling is different, I don't know how easy it would be to replace.
Which chips are they using!!! That's super important and you guys don't even talk about it. Do tech correctly...!!
Fr what an imbecile

I have the exynos s24 and the Snapdragon s23 and in my everyday use I find the s23 last about 40 minutes longer
Why do you have both?
@@chriswest2290why not?
@@Vordigon1 what ?
@@chriswest2290 why not have both phones at the same time? He could be testing them, or simply having one as a backup.
@@Vordigon1 ik the s23 ultra is old but i am planning on buying one now that the price is down. Would you recommend it?
such a poorly performed test, even the ambient mode settings on youtube were not same on all the phones
?
why are the top battery percentage always blurred out? this already decreases the authenticity of this test and many MANY OTHER TESTS YOU HAVE DONE
i think he is hiding webpage address
What chip did the S24 models have?
Exynos. Its a EU chanel. Its just a guess😊
@@joepeglegmorgan3015 snapdragon 8 gen 3 on US models
Just browsing test and youtube test. Extremely low quality effort
I love the website but this should have been a video uploaded the first week the s24 was released. You guys gotta speed it up
Paid promotion? Why you hiding the battery percentage
My S23U battery has been an insane improvement over the S22U. Its been top tier hope to keep it for years.
My S24 Ultra has been great but nothing spectacular versus my S21 Ultra.
This is the best battery test video, I have ever seen yet..

Shocker! Newer models last longer

Something is wrong with your Galaxy S23. It has the same chip than the Zenphone 10.
Same battery health at 100% ? 🙄🙄
For anyone considering the s24 plus it is a phenomenal phone.

the s23 loses early in this video. But it's not that bad on it's own, right?
Why TH-camr don't use Samsung Internet Browser?
I didn't know anyone used it. I've always opted for Chrome.
thx for test! s23 still the beast
Pls do the same with all pixel phones
mention their chipset model. snapdragon or exynos.
Please compare with s23 with Vivo V30 pro, OnePlus 12r and Xiaomi cv14

Hello what better s23U snap vs s24+ exynos??
which one schould i buy? im thinking about the s23 or the s24!
S24
S23
Due to degration to the battery cells the s23 did better on youtube test then s24.
You're not going to be buying a brand new battery with a s23, at best it's been sitting in a warehouse for the past year.
Can't it also be CPU & OS related?
@@Vordigon1 Can't you replace it with a newly manufactured battery? Assuming the 23U and 24U use the same exact ones or they continue making them.

After the one ui 6.1 update the battery has reduced drastically. It gives only 4 hrs of SOT. Any views on this ? @phonearena
