I just ordered the 50” coming tomorrow. I think it fits the bill for price and features in a pretty good price range for me.

I’m thinking of getting the 75 inch but hesitant because people say the picture quality is not like it’s described

I thought the SDR playback for movies, sports, and shows looked good. But it doesn’t get very bright for HDR; doesn’t look terrible in HDR but it’s not very impactful. I reviewed the 65 inch but I would expect the 75 to perform similarly. I would only recommend picking it up during a good sale

What digital to analog audio conversion device will work with Amazon omni qled Fire TV using Arc/eArc so that the fire stick can control volume?

So you have a Fire Stick hooked up to the Omni TV and you have a sound bar hooked up to eARC? On the Fire Stick’s home screen go to Settings. Then go to Equipment Control > Manage Equipment > Add Equipment. Then pick “Receiver” or “Soundbar,” whichever you are using for your external audio. Then pick the brand for the audio equipment you are using. Follow the instructions on screen to pair the remote to the audio device.

I was planning to get one today because it's Prime day but is there a better option? I'm not tied to Alexa?

The Fire HD 8 Plus is pretty good. If you want a larger screen you can go with the Samsung, but the Amazon can handle most basic tasks easily

Home Theater functionality is not available in UK 55 inch model

That's frustrating, it's a shame that different markets get different versions of a model. Do you mean linking to Alexa devices, or eARC?

@@techmechy no, ability to pair two echo studio and a subwoofer over wifi as a home cinema like you are able to do it with any other fire tv stick/cube

I contacted Amazon support and asked about this. The response was, "unfortunately we don't have an option yet to know when its gonna be compatible or can be added to the hardware specifically to UK." If I see that the feature has been successfully added to UK models I'll update in the comments here. Thanks for watching and replying!

just get a real tv and buy a 4K max stick, it has more features. like you can stream audio on 4kMax stick but not the TV, amazon is really showing what they think of users by dumbing down the experience on their flagship TV line
