I wasn’t prepared for how good this game was gonna be. Best thing Ubisoft has done in a long time. So much passion and polish. And a perfect game to enjoy handheld on the switch. Anddd only 50 bucks. Big time W for Ubisoft
I don’t understand why ppl don’t like this game. It looks amazing and the combat looks so precise. Def took advantage of the 2d play style
There are two reasons 1. Some people just like to bitch and hate 2. They don't like its not 3D assassin's creed style even though that's how we got assassin's creed

Back in our days we are happy with what we have and these days kids have expensive pcs with top notch graphics cards...they want only graphical eye candy's...no one cares about quality gameplay...I really love this game
Others don't like it because their diapers are full and need to kick and scream about it for no reason, others because it's not a "true" Prince of Persia and/or are afraid of change, and others because they figured out the hard way that they need to git gud at this game and quit. I just beat it an hour ago and what a ride it was. I hope it sells well and has a bright future ahead 👍

So I just beat the game just now, and I wanna say, does anyone else think it’s weird that there’s no boss fight against Radjen?
After Vahram tricks the rest of the Immortals, Radjen just vanishes for the rest of the game. And despite that, she’s apparently dead at the end of the game despite never having been fought.
She doesn't completely vanish. She talks to you at the end of the tower of silence.
We watch the queen kill radjen I’m pretty sure

Bro she literally disappeared and he said she died at the end. Wtf? I don't remember fighting her or seeing her die
I remember you can read a note written by her in the Depths about how many people she has fought over the years shes been there.
I think the game is trying to imply that the passage of time was the slowest for her and she fought over and over until she either died of natural causes or exhaustion of all the dangers on Mount Qaf.
I just saw the ending and I already want more of Sargon. This is an amazing new direction!
I wasn't rdy for the boss fights in this game, especially Menolias, my favorite. The way he runs away from you to attack with his bow at distance, and then, the kung fu lol it was epic !
Also the moment when he shot one arrow in the sky and then stars become arrows and start to fall to the ground, truly amazing ! WP Ubisoft Montpelier !
The most OP power is probably the VERGIL style dimensional slash.. you can literally absorb everything into it...even those large nuclear orbs of azhdaha that most (including me) fail to understand how to dodge...and you can then throw anything you've stored back at the enemy like the most powerful reflection mirror...
I think that was the point with those bombs Azhdaha drops. You're not supposed to dodge them, but instead catch one and use it against her.
I just want to give this guy proper credit for putting in the effort to record these fights. Props to you my man

This is miles different from the trilogy i grew up with. Still love Warrior Within and Two Thrones 😊
Honestly if you're a fan of metroidvanias, I'd say check it out. It's got the prince of persia vibes down..just view it as more of a reboot

I beat the final boss and finished the game with 100% completion today. Despite being made by Ubisoft, it is a great and tough game. A must play for Metroidvania fans.
The bosses were definitely the highlights of the game for me, Azhdaha and King Darius being my personal favorites.
I’ve enjoyed playing this game.. I’ve never played a Prince of Persia game but the gameplay I saw made me want to play it in the first few minutes.

Story sucks from what I've seen, but gameplay wise looks like a treat for any metroidvania fan. It's on my list already
@@pedrosantos1503I’m about half way through and kind of liking the story. Its not epic or anything but its does have some cool mystery to it. Enough to keep me somewhat interested. One top of that the game play is amazing good and comparing it to Hollow Knight in some ways. Some of the best I’ve seen.
@@pedrosantos1503 Story is good. It's not masterpiece but it is good enough. Gameplay is smooth, the sword fighting and the abilities are very fun. This game would've been GOTY if story was better
Nothing about this game is Prince of Persia. This obviously is a sequel to Immortals Fenix Rising than anything else. They simply slapped the PoP title so they would shut up the PoP fans.

Trash opinion, game is freaking fun
My favorite 3 boss fights were Kiana, the Snake and the BownArrow Friend. Prefect balance of difficulty and combination patterns. I wish there was a boss mode so i can just fight those 3 again.
Every boss before that was just like a difficult regular enemy, but with a little more combat variety and more health. But you can beat them with simple dodge and timing on the parry.
And then, all the bosses afterwards got more chaotic and difficult, but idk how difficult as my character has progressed too through skills and upgrades attained. Thus i found the fights became less of me learning and mastering the bosses patterns but more so hacking and slashing my way to a special 3 times (easily don with the right amulet) and defeating the boss before even experiencing it much.

Fans? You mean you newbies? Prince of Persia started as metroidvania games. Agreed that for a time like now it feels like a major downgrade but POP started like this so they're spitting in no one's face. You call yourself a fan and don't know the roots of the franchise?
There's literally even a metroidvania level design as an Easter egg in Sands of Time if I remember correctly
