4:36 FYI for any Orbea Rise owners: You can get rid of that suspension creak you hear here by putting some Teflon Tape between the arms and the pivot of the main suspension link and retightening everything back to torque using that purple or green tool you got with your bike. Please pass this on to the owner of Rise & Ride.
@@nwamtb We rented a pair from him about 2 years ago. Loved 'em so much we bought a pair. I've beat on mine hard enough to get the creak. Then figured out how to get rid of it. Technically you're supposed to use a specific Loctite, but the tape serves the same purpose.
Coming down for bike-a-palooza and staying through the following week! During the week I'm planning to explore a bunch of trails I have not hit before in NWA like Bella Vista, Handcut Hollow, Lake Atalanta, Mt Fizgerald/Bayyari, Lake Fayetteville, and if I have time, revisit Centennial and Kessler. I'll be bringing my Trance E+ 29r so I should be able to get a good sampling of all those. Company is welcome and I'm always glad to drive and will have my ebike rated hitch/platform rack 🙂
@@nwamtb Hot start last weekend but still a blast at the Palooza/Coler Roler - then perfect weather all week. Hit all the above by getting in a couple 6+ hour days on the bike the last 2 days. Gregory Park was actually one of my favorites - small but a hidden gem!
I wish I had time to ride with everyone but unfortunately I barely get the time to even film videos these days. If you ever see me on the trails come say hi and I will ride a trail with you.
This isn't a typical video that I would make. It's part of the trail series which is a series I made to help people preview trails who are coming to town before they ride them. I actually made this same video years ago and it became my most viewed video on the channel. That video is outdated now with the trail updates so I made a new version of it. I have more exciting videos coming that are more normal but this one was more to help people who are researching the trails.
The storm damage is heartbreaking. The cleanup work done by the trail crews and volunteers is simply amazing. Can't wait to get back down and ride.
Yes! They have done an incredible job.
was there 2 weeks before tornado.... all those beautiful trees!!!!! breaks my heart to see all the destruction but glad to see recovery is going well!
Is that bridge open yet?

Will do. This is the only bike of his that makes noise. The other bike that my camera man was on was perfect

Yikes!
Rode this last year! It’s amazing.
My guy get that thing serviced
The bike my filmer was on was perfect. I should have rode that one
I had so much fun there at the fest!! Was looking out for you. Awesome reliving it through this vid!
I was working at bike fest. I'm surprised I didn't see you
Fun vid but that creaking was brutal. Had to keep fighting this impulse to go to Jenson and order a new bottom bracket.
Haha definitely will be refilming this video soon
That creak was too much.
I did last about 2:51 seconds though
SIR DEALS
Is the Slaughter Pen All American connected to the Lake Bella Vista All American?
Did the damage stunt the rider tourism coming in to ride?
Only for about a little bit. My sponsor said the rentals are ramping back up now.
Which Rise model? Also what is estimated weight?
I'm not 100% sure. It's the aluminum model with the smaller battery
Sounds like you're riding a haunted house....
Lol
Can we ride together sometime ❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️❗️
