If you ever get a chance go ride the lake ludwig trails in Clarksville Arkansas. We put a lot of work into building those trails and they turned out quite awesome! Only an hour and half away from Bentonville.
Must say only a minute into the video and the pov shot are 3 times better then before! Not sure why guess u have changed something, that’s awesome to watch!
It will be interesting to see your 'fest videos but I'm sure you did fine. Nervous is ok, it's genuine instead of cool-douchy. You could always just wear some subtle channel merch and they'll notice.
Haha that's what I ended up doing. Just walked around with my hat with the channel logo. Got recognized, kept it low key, but I didn't record anything from the event
Can't wait to come down and hit some of those trails. Maybe I'll run into you and you can give the kiddo some pointers for his next MTB video. Love your content Evan.
Wish I could cross the Pacific and visit Bentonville this weekend . And if I did , the one youtuber I would prefer to meet is. . . Chad ! Seriously , yourself and Henry from Pinkbike are my favorite MTB presenters . Have a great weekend . Thanks for the content . Cheers mate .
Bro, no need for the imposter syndrome. “Hi I’m Evan from Evan’s MTB Saga TH-cam channel. I enjoyed >. Anyway, these are my local trails. Happy to show you around my favorite trails or maybe do a colab if you’re up for it. “
You are doing an excellent job of blurring the thin line between “go getter” and guy that is trying way too hard. I like your motivated attitude and have no problem with it. Your success is a direct result of your ambition and hard work to be a TH-camr. But the way you approached the first GMBN guys came across a bit cringey.
@@EvansMTBSaga never any problem with contacts I have never tried them hmm gotta think about this I guess try sportrx my brother runs them and likes them then go from the contacts are the goal
I recommend you be yourself - as you’re cool dude! Don’t be too pushy… I’m sure these dudes have a full on schedule so even if they genuinely wanted to it would be tough. Yes they know who they are and maybe the pride comes with the territory but be professional and be yourself. Reach out to their squad, ask different people to put you in contact with the right folks. Maybe you’ll be on their schedule for next year 😂🤣 or sooner my guy! Banter is always a great way to break the ice and start a convo. Trust these collabs will happen in due time. Just a numbers game

@@EvansMTBSaga damn that is low for that area, but hey if it works for you thats good. I use to run that low with the idea of maximum grip but then I tried higher and I realized unless im on crazy loose stones on rocks that 24+ was better for riding as it had pretty much the same grip but rolled way better and I havent gotten rim dings since upping the pressure
Nice one Evan . UK subscriber here , Rich was a bit salty and you were so friendly, Neil was just Neil, serious guy but at least he spared some time for you . Keep being you Evan !!!
I usually strike up a conversation about their bike. But with your shyness, I'd like to say thanks for the two comments! The comments are the best part about making these videos
Man I have to comment because it was so spot on. I just recently made a video about dumb dumbs around in the trail. Your comment was good. Are people really that dumb? I guess so. Post a video on what not to do with all of that fun stuff.
I'd say stop overthinking the conversations with these "celebs" so much dude! Walk up to them, chest out, and have a great conversation with some fellow riders. Who cares how popular they are!
Dig the climb-to-fun judgments. And showing how you got from one trail to the next. I'm heading down for the week of the Fourth and stay directly across A from Leopard's. My third time down, but still so many trails I haven't hit.
Why would choo choo and Thunderdome be your least favorite trails? They aren’t even bad, there’s so many other trails that I have no idea why you would consider those. How about “Here’s Johnny” that trail is horrible to ride in coler. Just not a great representation in general.
I have known a lot about MTB from watching your channel but I don’t even own mountain bike I own a Hercules street cat 3.0 an I live in India there are no trails but there is a small trail which very bumpy and some climbs which are very difficult on my bike and my hand hurts very bad.
That's great to hear you watch but don't own a mountain bike! I have a big audience in India and it sounds like mountain biking is becoming very popular there!
I love leopard’s loop. I was in Bentonville around new years with my family and one of my friends family and we stopped at leopard’s loop thinking we’d be there for a few minutes then we ended up being there for around two hours. It’s so fun!!
You should have titled this video.

Pretty sure Seth doesn’t like being treated like a celebrity so just talk to him like a normal guy. Just talk bikes and forget he even has a channel 🤟
If I see “the Seth” I’m getting his autograph
Calm down bud.
Evan it got to be said your videos are better than the stuff coming out of GMBN .Keep going, you are an inspiration to us all.

Blake from GMBN did Choo Choo by jumping the berms. Any trail can be fun with some little imagination, my dude.
Leopard sloop is pretty fun new to mountain biking but still not confident with leopard loop yet
My dji action 3 arrives tomorrow stoked to try it out! Nice video keep it up!

Sometimes I wanna move there to Bentonville to just ride! Ha! I miss that place! Great video. So informative!!
Great meeting you today man. Thanks for the shoutout and hopefully see you tomorrow!
Just casually has small chat with GMBN’s Rich Payne… “His name was probably Will or something” lmao.
