They upgraded most of they fleet to B787. Just got back to Uruguay from Spain (12h flight) doing one leg of the flight in business and the other one in economy (front row seat) and it was an overall pretty good experience compared to Iberia
I haven't flown in about 15 years, and this report reminded me of when I did fly! No leg room and yes or no for the menu!! Small portions, too! But, they did get you there!

At 6:42, you can see the JetBlue terminal (officially known as Terminal 5). It’s unique because it was built on top of the former TWA terminal (the iconic Eero Saarinen-designed one), whose headhouse still stands today and is now the TWA Hotel.
Caveat emptor. We paid in advance for extra legroom seat due to medical condition. They chose to switch the craft from a 787 in their fleet, to a 767 in a charter airline's fleet. As a result the seat reservation was basically turfed onto regular legroom seats.
Just flew Zürich Lima via madrid with them in a great Dreamliner ! Better than Air France and Klm but more expensive , their business class is amazing ! The food and wines delicious
I'm from Spain (Canary Islands) and I've ben in Iberia's long haul with A346 and A333 and with Air Europa in A332. In general Iberia had a huge difference (good). Do you think the same?
I'm glad to see you didn't have any problem for recording at JFK. I've been stopped and interrogated by police in the same terminal for taking pictures of planes.
@@burningfuel8836 i mean, yes, but only 3 of the airbus a330 of air europa sre refurbished i think, but i dont think they use them for long haul, since i flown the route amsterdam Madrid and the plane was refurbished, plus they are changing a330 with 787

Airlines really skimp on the food and drinks. The legroom is horrible. Airlines should be regulated to provide minimum space per seat in all classes of travel
I am reminded of a plumber in Hampton Roads Virginia who used to advertise in the local yellow pages with this line, “cheap plumbing isn’t good, good plumbing isn’t cheap..” I guess you get what you’re willing to pay for.
As always a great report. They must have added legroom cause my gf and I are most likely flying UX from JFK-TFN and seat guru has UX @ 31 in pitch on al aircraft. We mainly southwest here in the states who have the same pitch and at 6ft 6 I fit fine. You said the flight was not best what was the bad about it? also who would you recommend flying from the US to Tenerife?
It will be amazing if you can have a review of Rwandair They are operating flight from Bobmai, India to Guangzhou, China, which I believe to be a suitable flight to review Rwanda without really going to Africa!

You should try them again try them again David. Amanda and i had more issues with delta than we did with air europa. Now that said if you are over 6ft 1 you would be wise to pay the extra for the exit row. Air Europa's 787 are have the seat pitch reduced from 31 to 28. And on the day flight the flight attendants lock the shades. I hate that about the 787. Other than that the flights where pretty good. On time, the food was good and plentiful for airplane food (300 pounds here so if i can fill up than a skinny person would have leftovers.) The flight attednats where not rude or outgoing. Strictly business and they hang out in the galley unless called. No issue there for me as when i am on the clock i am all business too. Do not bother unless it is business related. In 2022 amanda and i are going to try air europa bussiness class if the price is right. But regualr coach class (i say in row 40) is just fine.
I already have landed in Seoul Korea and it was such a awesome flight in businees class! Plus I’m gonna stay here for a year before going to Seoul incheon airport in Asiana airline first class from ICN-JFK
I guess planes made in 2010s with IFE are more reliable and comfortable to sleep, and seat with otherwise it's like a desk making you feel claustrophobic

I flew their A330 from Havana and about half Economy cabin with broken IFE system. It’s a very average airline.

The only flight from Madrid needed to make it complete is a Cubana Il-96
i flew on the a330-200 back in 2016 from Mad-Lim. Wasn't the greatest experience to be honest.
