Hello beauties,
In today’s video I will review the new No 1 de Chanel Skincare line. For Spring 2022 Chanel introduced its first Chanel Eco-Friendly anti-ageing skincare line. According to Chanel’s website N°1 DE CHANEL is a new generation of eco-responsible formulas featuring skincare, makeup and a fragrance mist. At the heart of this holistic anti-aging line is the unique revitalizing power of Red Camellia Extract.
In this video I wanted to review the Number One Skincare line by Chanel and I am going to show you the consistency of the new N 1 de Chanel REVITALIZING SERUM; the new REVITALIZING EYE CREAM and the new REVITALIZING face CREAM.
This whole Number one Skincare line aims to minimize its environmental impact. The packaging is designed for a reduced carbon footprint. The formulas contain more than 90% naturally derived ingredients.
Overall, I like the whole concept of the new Chanel eco-friendly skincare line. I think that Chanel did a great job and my favorite products from this skincare line is the new N 1 revitalizing eye cream. Watch my full review and let me know what you think of this new release from Chanel 😊

Thank you for very interesting information about this line from Chanel. I've already purchased the eye cream, lotion and powder-to-foam cleanser. I really loved le tonique lotion, even if i didn't used it every day, it was very moisturising and also worked like cleansing toner.
I hardly ever comment on videos but I am so blown away by this range. Bought the foundation in B20 today, (am usually a B20 in other Chanel foundations) and oh my word it is simply stunning! I am 57 , have good skin but have a lot of redness and this foundation is simply wonderful. It blurs my redness without looking mask like or cakey. I have found lately that a lot of my foundations are starting to make me look quite tired and older but this gives me the most wonderful glory veil of coverage, feels like nothing on the skin, and doesn’t sit in my lines under my eyes. I have also bought the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation and I really find that quite heavy, and this from Chanel is so very much better - can’t get over how well I look wearing it. For reference I have very few wrinkles, just crepey eyes and redness/ broken veins, and my skin is normal, occasionally dry or very dry in winter. Give this a go, you will not be disappointed! The fragrance is beautiful but very pricey, and the moisturiser feels really lovely and quite rich considering it’s aimed at a younger age group. Will be saving up for both 😉. I purchased the entire line , I am 68 yrs. old and I love it. I do not have extremely dry skin, and this line addresses my hydration needs, even now during the winter. I will say that I find all of the products complement each other for complete hydration.My favorite products are the cleanser, very purifying but not drying at all, the eye cream is amazing, not heavy but very hydrating. I love the foundation, perfect for aging skin, very natural and does not fall into fine lines and wrinkles. I only use this as a daytime routine and use my anti-aging routine at night .

Thanks so much for the good insights on these products Angela. I bought the foundation which I adore and on a whim bought the lotion and the mist. I have a stock of favorite moisturizers and eye creams so I decided to wait and try samples. (My favorite moisturizer is Kirstin Florian Correcting Day Crème and her Rejuvenating crème at night except when I need an extra boost and use her Anda balm, I also use her brightening eye cream). I am 70 but with quite good skin and light wrinkles - moisture is my friend so adding the lotion is just an extra boost to my slathering on moisturizing products. I like the lotion but it does not stand out to me. The mist however is really wonderful and such a nice way to revive my face before my afternoon zoom meetings - it adds just the right level of glow without looking fake. So now I want to try the serum, cream and eye cream!!! Just a lovely line overall - I am very impressed.

Wonderful review and yes, I've purchased the #1 Chanel Foundation, B20, and its fabulous on mature skin. It's skin-like, natural lit from within glow, long wearing with NO oxidizing. It beats La Mer and Sisley foundations hands down. Love Love Love it.

Hello Angela, I am 41 with dry sensitive skin, and always a huge chanel fan , after watching your video I got samples of the serum, cream, fragrance, unfortunally they were a little bit to fragrant for me and not anti aging enough, but I did buy the mist for quick hidratetion on the go and really like it, thank you for helping me make the best decision

Angela, thanks a million times for your honesty about which products are good or not so good for people with skin conditions such as rosacea and those who are affected by fragrances. I suffer so much from rosacea. I do have a dermatologist and have tried every type of medical grade treatment there are. I may have to do laser treatment.😢
Literally every type of cream or liquid product causes an angry red rash immediately. I can use powder products, especially loose powder, so I don’t have much to work with.. Your honesty will keep me coming back to your channel.

Thank you Angela for this video! My holy grail eye cream is the Chanel le lift one, it is the only one so far that truly has en effect on the fine lines around my eyes. I wanted to get the Dior capture totale eye cream to see how it compares to Chanel le lift but now I am SO tempted by the n°1 eye cream! Do you think it is as good as le lift? Katie, I’m 65 and the target audience is really twenties to thirties I believe. I tend to do best with moisturizing formulas designed for my mature skin.

Thanks for such an informative review. Although I haven’t had problems with most scented cosmetics, I’ve avoided skincare with scent for many years. I’m very tempted by the new Chanel eye cream, however, as well as the foundation.

Hi Angela ! So interesting! The only product I bought from that line is L’Eau de Chanel N1. This fragrance is incredible! I use Tatcha skincare for years . There’s a lot of camellia in those products and I love them . I’m very interested by the Chanel N1 eye cream too . The ingredients are very similar to the Luminous deep hydratation firming eye serum from Tatcha that I love ( I’m currently using it ) . Thank you ! As much as i love Chanel, i am not interested in their skin line. I only purchase from companies who are specializing only in skincare . And no any fragrance. I use Biologique Recherche,, MBR and Valmont Majestueux line. I might purchase this new foundation, since its such natural, clean ingredients and so glowy. Although i love my Valmont Majestueux serum foundation, which is just more skincare, but still gives nice coverage, from very light to medium, and very hydrating as well. Have a blessed day 🙏🧡

Dear Angela, thanks a lot for the great insights. Really appreciate that Chanel finally launched an eco friendly skin care line. As I am screening my skin care products very carefully, I was concerned to find Chlorphenesin as this is halogen organic substance, of which some can cause cancer and allergies. Therefore your view and reliable sources on toxicity of this ingredient would interest me.
My pick from this collections powder to foam cleanser,serum(not the spray),eyecream,moisturizer, ofcourse foundation and cheek and lip balm☺
Hello Angela. Very informative video. I did get the foundation and must say that I love it. I apply very thin layer. Love that it gives me a glow. As for the rest of the products my problem with wrinkles is not a problem it is an open war. I keep them in control with retinA. I did get some samples of the cream and am using so as not to waste them. Have a great day. 🥰

Such a great detailed review Angela. I’m 45 so this new line doesn’t appeal to my skin although I must admit they have marketed quite well especially in taking a more clean approach.
The only thing that caught my attention was the fragrance mist. I just got my bottle yesterday and I am just addicted and can’t get enough. The only disappointment is the size. They could have made it into a larger 200ml flank to make it go further.You really have to go heavy handed with this spray (In my case anyway) and even then silage isn’t the best
Why do say say this isn’t for your bc you’re 45? It’s an anti-aging based line. I work for chanel, this is a great line for your skin.

My Chanel BA sent me a few samples with my last order. I wish it did not have fragrance. The samples are find, but I don't see myself using it on the regular.
So according to what you are saying if we have a condition already in the skin, this line is not so helpful, right?
Is it also so for the eye cream which claims to help with dark circles and puffiness?

Hello this video is one year old :) I used full size products so I speak from experience now. :) Overall the products are nice but just as I expected they didn't do anything for my skin. I didn't see any improvement. The face cream was my favorite product. It moisturizes the skin and gives some plumpness (temporary like every moisturizer) but no long term results. The eye cream didn't do anything for my under eye area. It's not a bad product but it will most probably not help with darkness and puffiness. If you want to see results for dark circles try an eye cream with vitamin C in it. I hope this helps. Thanks a lot for watching my videos. xoxo

One thing about the revitalizing serum is that its highly fragranced and that's not good. I used it once for far and it burned my face. I won't be purchasing it anymore and I don't think I'll be using it again. The fragrance is very overwhelming and it's strong

I would like to correct you, it is not fragranced. Since only raw product has been used , scent of camellia was never removed.
@@candy9986 you are incorrect. N°1 uses Camellia extract, which is camelia oil and molecules, which does have a scent. To answer your question, no artificial fragrance been added.
I purchased the lotion, essence lotion and serum revitalize. I was given a sample of the cream. I am 42 years old, with dry skin and have been loving the La Mer The Tonic, La creme and their genaissance lotion. I got the Chanel products as a replacement for my La Mer products which I have now finished using. The Chanel products are nowhere near the La Mer products in terms of hydration and overall skin brightening and refinement. The only thing I enjoyed about the Chanel products was the very high class scent. But in terms of texture and efficacy - not impressed. It was quite tacky as well. And I also didn’t like the packaging. They look great and so beautiful. Perfect on the dresser. but the way to dispense the product was too complicated and kinda irritating and so unnecessary. I will give them maybe 2 weeks. If I still don’t like the products, I’ll probably give them away, and stick to La Mer. Another irritating thing about the Chanel products is the instructions on how to use the products. Because it’s eco friendly, they did away with the little instruction note in the box. In its place, there is a QR code for us to scan to read the instructions online. Because the name of the products are so similar, I find myself having to scan the code for one product, read the instructions online using my phone, hence I need to wash my hands before applying the product, then after that scan again for the instructions of another product and the whole process restarts. So it’s a little annoying overall.
