When I was discovering metal in the 80s there were so few women and were mostly singers like Doro or Lorraine Lewis, with the occasional bassist like Jo Bench from Bolt Thrower, and Lita Ford as a guitarist was basically an anomaly. You really had to dig into the underground to find bands like Phantom Blue and Meanstreak since Vixen was the only all female band most people heard of back then. Even in the 90s when there were seemingly more women in metal bands they were still usually the singer like Nightwish and Lacuna Coil, not that they weren't great but it seemed like the status quo in the metal scene. There are so many great female players who can finally have some visibility and recognition in this day and age, and this collaboration was a perfect way to show that. Congratulations and thanks to everyone involved for sharing your talents with us.
Gretchen is incredible, ridiculous skill. All of these ladies killed it! Also on that note. This was by far the best shred collab on youtube. Meshed well together and was smooth throughout! Great blend of skill and Melody.
