Thanks as usual Jermaine...started stock purchasing in 2019, far from versed on it didn't even know some of my stocks are dividend paying...There is so much to know, but I'm taking bite sizes
Great content - thanks! Subscribed! Where can I find the Dividend listing (at 31 mins at 26 secs and for 2021 and prior years) and is it available in Excel format?
That's OK once you understand the risks and are investing using a clear strategy. You can borrow via unsecured loan or a margin loan. A margin loan is a loan against your portfolio, you can ask your broker about it. In general, you want to be very cautious with debt, use it carefully and strategically (if at all).
Is the Social Security number in the US equivalent to the TRN number. Any advice for someone living abroad in the USA and want to invest in stocks in Jamaica
Yes the SSN is the equivalent to the TRN. Re investing in Jamaica, its better to send us an email or DM via social media for some more information then we can provide advice in terms of how to invest from the US.
Thanks for that feedback Danielle. You can ask your current broker if they provide the option to purchase overseas. I recommend however that you use Interactive Brokers (IBKR). You can use our affiliate link: www.interactivebrokers.com/referral/jermaine548
WHY would anyone invest in the JSE? They're all fraudesters in the JA financial system. Sorry, I'll take my chances in the USA or Switzerland, or Germany as at least you have some recourse with their legal system if you are defrauded. Unlike in JA where they ripped off Usain Bolt and no one went to jail. Oh pleazzzzeee....😢and no thank you.
@@luchandmorris6174 unfortunately no place we can go to find it. It's just researching each company. On of our admins found out that SIL does it only because he owns the company.
Hello I'm already on the jse and currently investing in our company . . I'd like to know how can I go about making investments in organizations like Microsoft?

Do you have to hold your stock for a specific number of time before getting a dividend payment?
Look at the section where I mentioned the important dates. You'll need to be a shareholder by the cutoff date to be eligible to receive the dividend.

Can I do trading from the USA in the Jamaica stock market?
Yes you can once you meet the broker requirements. Just reach out to your preferred broker.
What brokers out her locally can allow you to invest in international stocks? I absolutely love your content and space.

Dividend investing for non jamaicans on the Jamaica stock market is possible?
Unfortunately no. You'll need a TRN to open a brokerage account in Jamaica

How do you know if a company have a DRIP plan?
On the Jamaica Stock Exchange only one company is known to provide DRIP and that's Sterling Investments Limited (SIL)
@@learngrowinvest yes but where how or where did you find that information? Is it on the jse website or in their prospectus?
