Thanks for 125 subs everyone! Here's a requested tutorial on how to make tandem / heavy lift helicopters! Background music: Dxnzxl - Essence Link: • Video
Been playing for about a week now, built a Chinook as a deep dive into the game. Just got it to fly properly after many hours of pain and anguish, I will name this aircraft Bigman after yours truly.
Thanks mate. I'm the one who requested this tutorial. But I generally like rear rotor are counter rotating so they gonna counteract torque each other just like real life. I've seen like Boeing ch-47
I'm building a chinook and when i used this gyro, the chinook instantly starts to spin in a circle as well as having roll and yaw as the same control. any way i can get around this?
this is nice walk through, but you can just flip one of the rotors. I commonly use inverted roll and yaw so the pipe isn't in front of rotor box, so theirs that too. just for simplicity sake.
I've been trying to make a Chinook for some hours, not only the freaking thing starts turning crazily in flight, but my jet engine for some reason stops working some minutes after turning it on and I dont know why, this game is frustrating

Aww thank you kind sir

Yeah I can see where you are coming from. I'll try applying it to a test bed!

I need to really update this tutorial, but it'll be due to rotor torque
@@BigmanBoi ok, thanks man. :)
for such a small youtuber this is surprisingly good
mine still rotats to the left a little bit how do i fix this?
Or you can just use the substract node insted of using the -x ... right ?
Subtract only subtracts. -x inverts

yes you can flip the rotors, I just find this method more straightforward, but both work
WOW man thnx u so much i almost had a stroke trying to find a way for YAW. have a like man u deserve it BTW nice backround music
Why isn't the microcontroller showing up when I go to the logic tab?
You will have to scroll down to the microcontroller tab
Nice Work
Never Hear of this Software!!!! Looks Amazing
Software? Its just stormworks man
@@marcusthegamer348 technichally it is software.....
Thank you so much!
No problem :)
so are both rotors spinning the same direction? how does this thing not spin in circles?
I was wondering the same thing
I've been trying to make a Chinook for some hours, not only the freaking thing starts turning crazily in flight, but my jet engine for some reason stops working some minutes after turning it on and I dont know why, this game is frustrating
Big mistake you didn't mirror your rare rotor by pressing U, then u need to -x or x*-1 ROLL not YAW. But still thx for the vid
Both methods work
Nevermind, I fixed it.
Great video 👌
Thank u
hey, spins in circles, i doublechecked the microcontroller and it should work but it still spins
try adding a gearbox on one of the rotors and reverse it, and if it does not work then i just have a severe skill issue dont mind me here🥲
It doesn't work for me, the thing just flips out and breakdances
You may want to rewatch the tutorial and check if anything is wrong. I will probably be making a new one soon as this tutorial is old
-X ... so much easier than f(x) X-(X+X)...
