    You 2 are a great team. I absolutely love that you cater to your typical average audience. You don’t always recc9mend the most expensive and ridiculous priced new to market products. Thank for all you do and read content. Cheers!!!

    Pretty jeep .. and very nice chrome rims . I’m still a big fan of chrome rims I know a lot of people are going with the black ones nowadays

      I don't like black rims either. Except my neighbor has a lifted Chevy quad cab in bright red. It looks good with them big ol tires

    Phil, you really do make this look easy. So, do you ever use a medium clay towel instead of the fine? For the Steiner's, do you recommend the aresol or spray?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Thanks....I only really ever use the fine clay pads, they work really well. We prefer the aerosol Stoners Trim Shine, its great for hard to reach plastics.

    That looked a bit of a tough one 😁 do have any tips to safely remove bird poo between washers 👍

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      😁👍🏼. I would use a quick detailer and a soft microfiber towel that is damp with water to gently remove the bird poo. Then a dry towel and a mist of more quick detailer to dry the paint after.

    Amazing videos Phil, do you always wash outside car first before doing inside? And why do you do this process first. I like doing interior first before I’ll do exterior thank you Phil just starting up my detailing business couple months and your videos really help

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi thanks. I guess it’s just our process. But we like to get the exterior done first and get it out of the way. The interior of its trashed takes longer to do. So by the end of the interior process we are beat up! It’s mostly a mental thing, we like to have the exterior all done then focus on the interior. It it’s totally not a rule just personal preference really.

    Great video Phil , can you please tell me the estimated total time you needed for this interior/exterior job? ( Exclude the coating service)

    • @newelljack
      @newelljack 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With two of them, I would expect that to take about 2-2.5 hours. On my own, the exterior would take 2 hrs and another 2.5 for the inside.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi thanks. Yes Pol star if great for all around cleaning. We dilute it 1:10 for light cleaning and 1:4 for heavier cleaning. bit.ly/3fbQ1Ew

    Phil, the dryer you use to get excess water off the vehicle, is it the dog dryer that you have listed in the comments? I use a leaf blower now but there has to be a better way.
    Also the clay mit, would you say it's better than the clay bar?

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi. Yes it is. It’s a cheap dog grooming blower. It works great for us. I attached a Centec 30ft hose to it also. amzn.to/3vUySG0
      We use both the clay mitt and clay bar. It depends on how bad the paint is. Usually all the top portions we use the clay mitt on and the bottom portions the clay bar because they are usually the nastiest.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Thanks! Well we are actually pretty fortune, our water is not bad at all. We still work quickly because we get very minor spots, but they easily wipe off with some spray detailer.

    Phil, great stuff as always! I've been using your method in my business aswell, APC rinse but I rinse before that. Is this necessary? Can we just go straight to APC rinse before contact wash and skip pre rinse? Thanks!

    • @newelljack
      @newelljack 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I started the APC rinse too, especially on bugs. Amazed at how well it works! I think skipping the pre-rinse is a case-by-case basis. The Jeep didn't look too dirty, but APC won't do much on something coated in mud.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi thanks! Well it’s safer in my opinion to pre rinse then APC, dwell, then rinse again. The pre rinse can be quick also, so it doesn’t have to be too extensive. 😎👍🏼

    How come u didn’t clay the vehicle before applying the wax is it because the paint didn’t need it or the customer didn’t pay for it ?

    • @newelljack
      @newelljack 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He clayed it with the fine mitt during the contact wash.

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Yes I used the clay mitt, the paint wasn’t horribly gritty so a light pass of the clay mitt while washing with the thick foam did a great job. 😎👍🏼

      Hi. Well this customer is an awesome regular of ours and we did those wheels for $200. But normally I would charge $300-$400 for a set of 4 wheels. These were not only off the vehicle and tireless but we didn’t have to take them off or re-attach them. 😎👍🏼
