Wow first reviewer that understands beats and its target consumer, most reviewer want to be audiophile, but that's not what's beats are targeted for....great review
Neutral and honest review I like it 👍🏻 I have the Matt Black set & the good news is, the initial discomfort in terms of the clamping down on the ears subsides as you use them. I love mine. I can really not criticize anything around them at all.
guys i have used this for around a month and they are fantastic. the sound, the noise canceling, and the transparency mode are all great. i even use it for gaming sometimes for like csgo or valorant. they work amazing. the only thing is tho that because it has metal in them, it clamps down on your ears and it starts hurting after a little while (3+hours) especially for people with larger heads
I got the same color and I love it. I’ve always been a fan of Beats. I love the way they sound. Like how they turn on. I do wish the case was more substantial than a squishy non protective case. But I’m glad I bought them and they sound great.
Shelley Erhart I got them in red and love them. I agree with you about the case, I wish it was a hard shell, but that’s really my only complaint with these.
I got these last week and they were amazing. I can add that if it’s too tight just turn on transparency it releases the pressure and the air hits ur ear. Also they are the best beats atm and they are just better than Sony and bose in my experience
I typically was not a beats person before but these new ones are somewhat tempting. I’ve also never owned a pair of Boise canceling headphones. My current headphones and earbuds are from JBL. I’ve used Sony in the past and (dare I say it) Skullcandy before that.
I’m a Bose person and a Sony person :) got both the QC 35 II and the XM3 and wouldn’t trade any of them for a pair of beats :) great review Caleb, as always!
MATEUZ Have they squeezed your ears yet? On my first half an hour session, I almost started to cry from the pain, my ears was the same colour as the matte red version. 🤣
I’ve tested them too...they look ok and they sound ok but on the highest volume on the Iphone they don’t sound very loud they kind of silent...also they way too expensive for what they offer and no usb c and if you want to use them wired you will need to spend extra money for the cable...m...
Why does he constantly mentions Bose’s and Sony’s headphones when they’re not in the same category with the beats solo pro. These headphones are different type and and have different purposes. Beats solo pro are doing great for what they are supposed to do.
I’m gonna go with the solo pro’s.. I’m not in need of over-ear headphones tbh. Just something I can wear for around an hour, 2 hours tops. Plus I quite like beats as that’s just me.
The beats I have listened to were hopelessly bloated and needed to elevate a few notches to be "mediocre". I hope these are better. $200 beats are easily destroyed by a number of $100 headphones.
I really like the Bose and Sony headphones, but if Beats would build comparable over-ear headphones with top notch sound, noise cancelling, and phone calls (very important) I’d buy them.
I tired them today. After 60 seconds they felt very uncomfortable; after 5 minutes my hears hurt. I can’t imaging wearing them for even an hour, let alone a transatlantic flight. I bought the Sony WH-1000XM3.
I just got the dark blue, Wish they were louder but the noise cancellation is good. Got them for the gym. They are as loud as AirPods but AirPods ain’t got noise cancellation, you decide
Got a pair last week. LOVE the sound quality. Excellent battery life. They are comfortable on me. After a few days they feel even better. Enjoy them so much … I got my wife a pair! Mine are Ivory … she loves the Dark Blue. HIGHLY recommend!!
Attila B. They are currently on sale for 250 at Best Buy I bought a pair I find them rather comfortable for me it’s all about how they sit if I bring them slightly forward from my ear I think they’re fine but I also only listen for maybe 2 or 3 hours at a go I don’t really wear headphones for longer than that
Matthew Choate Thanks for your message! They started to hurt my ears after a good 45 minutes or so even if I extended the headband for the maximum length and readjusted the earcups. The little bones on the outer part of my ears were very sore. It might have become better after a while if break in or my ears get used to it, but I was still concerned after 10 days of constant usage. They are a solid, quality headphones unlike my previous very plasticky Sony WH-1000XM3s. I wish I would have given more time for the Solo Pro if there was a longer returning period but I returned them in the end. I bought the Nuraphones instead and I found them more comfortable and the sound quality is night and day. I’ve had many ANC headphones recently, included the Bose and Sony flagships, the Nuraphones blow away all of these. Amazing pair, if you haven’t tried them yet, I would highly recommend if you get a chance.
Attila B. I’m giving them a good shot. I used to have some good ATH-M50X but when I went wireless I got the Sony WF 1000XM3 and loved them but I ended with AirPods pro for the ease of use and they sounded still really good. So I went into headphones the same way. I wanted really good sound but would compromise would ease of use and connecting to all my things and reading my texts and stuff.
I’m wondering how can you plug them into your iPhone because I don’t know a port that has Lightening in both sides. Do you know how? Also, that was a good video, you guys are the best!
Seve Rodriguez sound Quality is subjective different people have different likes in sound quality. What 1 Person like or even maybe loves another person might hate.
Franga# Well, what do you expect?🤨 It’s Apple. And we’re not at the point where we’re all in with USB-C, with Apple anyway. I think they’re either waiting for “something” to convert to all USB-C or looking to go all Qi, with USB-C as a alternative with things like the Beats line, where Qi wouldn’t make sense.....yet.
Franga# I like it as the standard, but still like Lightning. It just gives me a feeling of exclusivity and it’s a standard Apple can control. There’s still a few things Apple can apply with Lightning. But I’m up for USB-C or anything that makes consumer tech functional and fun.
Honestly I listened to both extensively and I can honestly say that the beats sound is better, however the Sony’s NC is insane and definitely the best you can find, although I don’t care much for NC and I have multiple apple devices so the beats were a better pick for me
Vino sitas honestly the instruments sound more distinct on the beats, you can hear them very clearly, if anything the Sony’s sound very muffled compared to them
Not everyone likes sony and bose though, beats are budget friendly so i prefer them. Sony or bose get expensive and once lost they gone forever. So they arent for everyone
These straight up suck. I had to return them. Amazingly, they don't even nail the bass experience that the brand is famous for. They didn't even compete with my old Bose headphones. At this price point they are seriously outclassed by a variety of other offerings.
Please get past the consumer headphones and review some real professional headphones, for monitoring, mixing, tracking, audiophile listening, open back, closed back, earbuds, yes with wires and with out, and no noise canceling to hear of. Keep doing the disposable landfill filling sealed battery, 0 repairability, bad for the planet, colorful plastic stuff, but also do some reviews of headphones worthy of the high end tv's you some times review. Thanks.
I get that it’s one year later, but if you have enough entitlement to try to tell him how he should run HIS channel, then maybe consider doing your own videos 🤔
This has to be a lie cause there’s been many reviews that say they sound pretty good, not the best but pretty good. If anyone reads this don’t trust people like this dude, do your own research on them like the video and listen to more then ones opinion.
@@JeffyWelcomeToMyChannel Why would I lie? First, don't count on using the microphone and having any decent sound. Don't believe me? Google it. The audio quality is absolutely terrible because apple degrades the sound quality. Even apple acknowledges it. Second, they are way too bass heavy, the high range is nonexistant, and the mid-range is underwhelming. Again, compare them to any other headphones in this price range and they are far superior. . The sound isn't the only problem. Even with a medium size head, they pinch your ears so tightly, that you cannot use them for an extended period of time. Want to use them with a movie or gaming? Forget it. The latency is will make you think you're watching a dubbed movie from another language. Literally, old wired bose headphones sound better. Don't believe me? Just got look up the reviews instead of listening to Jeffy riding the Apple D.

cant compare on ears to over ears dawg

Rene Licea that's like some 8yr burn. Lmao
Dante Biviano 8yr burn? I burned him for 8 yrs? Be more grammatical don’t understand you
Rene Licea Fuck. Sorry, you don’t understand, and for your benefits, that was an 8-year-old burn, that's what I meant.

I love Beats because I like the quality and Dr Dre is one of my favorite musicians ...

I like heavy bass, so I’m a beats guy.
@Greewin both but solo pro is better overall
I got the same color and I love it. I’ve always been a fan of Beats. I love the way they sound. Like how they turn on. I do wish the case was more substantial than a squishy non protective case. But I’m glad I bought them and they sound great.

You can get a Hard Case on Amazon for $8 … I’ll use the soft case at home - hard case on the go. Love the Ivory!
I just ordered the baby blue for the gym !!!!

Please compare the new Sennheiser PXC 550 II with the XM3 and Bose 700
Why would they put a USB C to Lightning in the box? Most people don’t have USB C power adapters lying around yet
Its USB A to Lightning, not C to Lightning
Watching using my xm3s, and I think the *thump* from the start of the video is intentional to give emphasis on the bass for beats.
I’m a Bose person and a Sony person :) got both the QC 35 II and the XM3 and wouldn’t trade any of them for a pair of beats :) great review Caleb, as always!
wow you have both?
Vino sitas I do :) couldn’t decide between the two.
Hello. Kindly review the Wyze noise cancelling headphones. Thank you in advance.
Listening to this review on my new Beats solo pro (matte black). Picked them up brand new sealed for $175 + tax.
MATEUZ

Why did you do 2 reviews of the same product on this channel?
How do I change the size on these
Would you recommend those as a gift for someone who would use them at the gym?
Edwin no their too tight. Get them the Powerbeats pro
Thank you!

Yeah I got them for 300 probably not worth it not even good as studios that ar out 2 years ago smh
You know I can't connect my phone with these beats
It worked earlyer but now it just not good

Bass is my thing. Beats since day one.
My favorite color but they need to be over ear not on. I’ll stick with my AirPods
So means that you might like the Baby blue studio Beats. That's over ear. I'm thinking of going the same way over ear.
Over ear is so much better for comfort and sound immersion not sure why apple keeps the on ear design
When is the TCL 8 series review coming? I have seen from several people that its complete junk. Have not seen a positive review yet.
I really like the Bose and Sony headphones, but if Beats would build comparable over-ear headphones with top notch sound, noise cancelling, and phone calls (very important) I’d buy them.

I have the Beats studio 3 wireless and they are amazing. Beats are no longer bass heavy garbage like they once where.

I want these for christmas
