I literally have been living my duck hunting days through this channel and a few others work got so crazy and ive have been relied on for the past 5 yrs that I literally haven't hunted till just the other day i went, and sat before taking kids kids to school, for the first time ever!!

Remember broham, partially freeze your meats before grinding for better texture. Also grinding in your spices really gets the flavor in there.

Restructured jerky can be made by putting the seasoned meat on a piece f parchment paper, top with another sheet and roll it out. Can spray the sheets with pam for easier peeling off the meat. Once rolled out press grooves to make strips as wide as you want. slide into dehydrator on the parchment paper(it takes a little longer to dry than on a screen)

Sup Andrew, great hunt and variety, jerky great idea, no complaints lol, BUT don't soak the meat, rinse it well and remove pellets.. otherwise just go buy beef jerky, good thing about how you seasoned it is great, tasting the meat you will know what seasoning works best with each, I know speck is best teriyaki and hot pepper flakes, example..tyvm tc

Wow that was a lot of ducks!! I always make my jerky on my smoker! It Drys it and makes it tender. Keep up the videos I enjoy watching every one of them !
Don’t worry about the mallards. They are starting to come down from North Dakota big snow storm just hit ND. Plus your pond is deep enough it won’t freeze till late late season
I love all of flairs vids although waxen it’s spring you need to do some fishing vids like in a big lake not just the pond
For reconstructed jerky I go for around 3/8" thick when " squirting" so you end up with a 1/4" jerky. I make a marinated venison 2/3 mixed with regular ground beef 1/3. That makes some absolute fire 'pocket' jerky.

i've been grinding and making my own jerky for almost 20 years and LEM jerky products are great. their attachments give you thicker jerky also.
