I first heard Atmosphere when I was in 5th grade. I’m 28 years old as I type this. Atmosphere has been with me thru pretty much my entire life. He helped my wife and I bond when we were 15 year old kids falling in love. He also helped me be a better dad when my son was born. He regretfully helped me through the grieving process after my wife died last year. To think this man is still making music absolutely blows my mind. Man Atmosphere is truly one of the best hip duos to ever do it. I’ve been rocking Atmosphere since the start and it’s truly awesome to say I got to listen to Slug grow as an artist. His music has helped me get through a severe opiate addiction, a divorce and alcoholism. I can’t tell you how many times after my divorce I wanted to give up and have another drink. But instead I’d throw atmosphere, Murs, Living legends etc… on and just drive and drive till I overcame the cravings.
