Ya because she got FULFILLED BY AN OLDER GUY AND HAD A MARRIED FANTASY ALSO FULFILLED SHE NEVER KNEW SHE NEEDED OR WANTED. She got piped by an older guy n absolutely loved it!!! that's what she failed to say.
They both matured throughout the seasons. You could tell that the whole mess that happened with the TA really shook her, and it helped her grow up. She was forced to take responsibility when Derek showed up at her house. And then when Matt talked to her, it knocked sense into her, and she ended up going back to school. By the time she returned home after finals she was more mature. It was so obvious how much more mature she was in episode 12 of season 5.
You always got the sense from the beginning Julie and Matt were endgame. As they should have been. A part of me just wishes Landry and Tara would have been endgame.
What song starts at 1:55 with lyrics “oh you thought you'd find something better better than me…but you found treachery..romes fate hit hard burn it down” I love it and I can’t find it any where
Matt was the ultimate nice guy and it's great to see the nice guy get his dream girl
And to have the Taylors as his parents-in-law.
A lot of guys do. The whole "bad guys always get the girls" is a lie.
@@katierowen3166 yyhh
@@Jr-ee8gt Forgive me, I don't know what that means
@@katierowen3166 just means yeah ✋
“….I hope this doesn’t scare you but we need to a …. Get breakfast “ ha Matt’s delivery is next level
it's impossible to hate Matt
Love Matt. Such an amazing guy.
His reaction to her admitting the affair always surprised me. He didn’t even ask if she knew he was married.
They weren't together, its not his concern. She wasn't committing adultery, the TA was.
she still was
@@joemckim1183she was still committing adultery. She just didn't know.
@@writerchick94 She knew she was committing adultery. They weren't even legally separated, only physically separated.

I'm so glad that Julie and Matt reunited in Chicago, I've wondered if Matt Saracen wants to play football in Chicago Bears.
@Andrew Watson Oh yeah, that's right, we got Justin Fields in the game.
14 straight losses. I'd take Saracen aka Texas State Champion any day.
Julie pissed me off a lot of times, but this scene is one of my favorites. Seven let her know what's up. Top Ten favorite series of all time
I believe I have it at #1 Matt was the ultimate good guy that every girl wants. Great performance by Zach Guilfird.
Robbie Quinn “thinks they want” but yes for sure bro
7 was the only person Julie ever really listened to.
Seven did mature more throughout the seasons they were always the couple I wanted to end up together

@@lauraschoenborn3544 I agree, I'm rewatching the series and its obvious Julie is her best self when shes in a relationship with Matt.

these days by the black keys
No it’s not the Black Keys.
I want to know too!
It's "These Days" by The Black Keys. I looked it up and dug for it
bueno para mí esta escena compensó todas las vezes que julie se ha quedado loca en la S2
Please someone what is the song at 1:16? It remains a mystery!
what is the song at the ending? harmonica sound to it?
I can’t find it anywhere either
some idiot has dubbed over the original episode with different music
What's the song playing at the beginning?
Anyone know what's the name of the song 1:16?
OMG I have the mannequin in his room which means I have something in common with FNL - now I am cool and will share on FB and social media OMG OMG
Matt isn’t a simp!
Yes he literally is
On the inside he’s going all Sam Kinison!
Does anyone know the name of the song 1:16?
Did you ever find out what the song was? I’ve looked all over and I can’t find it.
@@sassafrass1284no the search continues! What about you? Sounds like an indie song.
I can’t find it and I’m annoyed bc it’s a good song! If I figure it out I’ll let you know 😊
@@sassafrass1284 same here! I hope it’s not just a backtrack they created for the show you know what I mean.
What season and episode
It's 5x09 "Gut Check" :)
Julie Taylor was bad news. Series wrapped up before writers had time to plausibly reform her.
what song starts at 2:00?
these days by the black keys
Biggest mistake of Matt's life was taking her back
julie was always matt’s soulmate, they both brought the best in each other
I can't believe Matt Saracen cheated on his football to be with Julie in Chicago.
For shame.
What?
Nice
He let her off the hook way too easily. I hope they addressed it later on because x-x
how so?
I mean he wasn’t wrong though, they weren’t together and if he did sleep with someone else also in that period, did it matter?
Ha! "Its fine" ill cheat on you too maybe one of your beautiful friend wouldve been a good comeback
They weren’t together. They were apart. So it’s not cheating. Her chasing after the Swede was cheating but not this.
