I keep going back to rewatch their scenes from all the seasons, bought the dvd too so I could see the deleted scenes. It always impresses me how grounded they kept Matt and Julie, they are one of the most realistic depictions of a high school relationship making it to adulthood, the growing pains, all the ups and downs, but love that persists. I think about in mud bowl episode when Julie says "I'll always love you no matter what happens"... knowing how the show ends that scene is even better and more heartfelt. this edit was great at capturing that, so lovely 💗
